Perfect place for group tent camping complete with hot shower facilities and a lovely chilled vibe at the campground. Right by a river with a deck for water activities in the hot weather, and close enough to Burlington for city adventures too. The owner, Dunlap, was really helpful throughout the weekend! Thanks again!
This place is really great. The tent sites down by the river are gorgeous and very quiet. The outdoor shower is heavenly. The owner is laid back and flexible. Close to Burlington/Winooski but also easy to access lots of hiking and outdoor activities. And the price is very reasonable. Stay here!
The owner, Dunlap, is very prompt and also relaxed. As long as you respect his property he will certainly respect you. Very easy drive to and from the site to Burlington, also extremely affordable rates for a gorgeous, peaceful, clean and quiet campground. I will definitely be returning!!
This place is a little hidden gem! After looking around for a campground over Fourth of July weekend that wasn't booked and could take our dog, we stumbled across this campground and we're glad we did. It's an Adult Only Eco campground and the environment is very laid back. Dunlap the owner was more than happy to have us and set us up on the lake which was private and perfect for our dog to run around. We stayed three nights for $25/night. It's about 20 mins from Burlington and 35 mins from Stowe. It's also right next to Lake Champlain islands so you can drive up those where there are state parks and more to explore. There's an outdoor shower and only a portapotty but we made it work. Dunlap suggested many local places for us to check out that ended up being great. Would definitely New the place in mind next time we're up in the area!
I had a wonderful experience staying here. The campsites themselves are beautiful and the location is perfect for hanging out in Burlington or going on day hikes in the mountains. The owner is super helpful and flexible. This is now my go-to campground for Vermont adventuring!
This year we’ve added a second outdoor shower and EV’s can charge their cars for a flat fee of $10
Very relaxed camp with access to a river. Prefect distance from everything not to busy not to rural. Very friendly owner, Dog friendly, Quiet and on a quiet road. Has many RV spots and some tent spots.
Very quiet and laid back campground. Enjoyed our couple of nights there . Very thankful for owner fitting us in on a very short notice and holiday week. Loved walking down to the river with the dogs.
Great quiet campground right on the river, tent sites were large and well maintained. Dunlap was very helpful and friendly, we can’t wait to plan another trip there!
This campground is awesome. Beautiful spot, off the beaten path, low key, and super cool. Close to biking and right on the river if you've got a canoe or a kayak. Will definitely camp here again!!
