Just spent a couple hours on beach..trying to enjoy just a little bit more of a short summer
A few people on beach. Lifeguard season over..not as clean now...was trash free prev.

Ausable Point Campground has long been a special place for my wife, Barb, and I. I was stationed at Plattsburgh AFB, she was a nurse in town, we met, fell in love, and remain happily married, thanks in part to Ausable Point. 

At least monthly, for 32 years, we've stopped at Clare & Carl's to pick up Michigans and taken them to Ausable to eat by the lake. We've camped there, or visited friends camping there hundreds of times, and always the place is clean, neat, peaceful, and quiet. The staff have always been friendly and helpful. The waterfront sites are a true gem.
