We were looking for a place to get Sunday lunch during the boat show and this place had the shortest line. We still had to wait but it went very quickly and soon we were seated on the heated patio. Crab cakes and chowder seemed like a good choice and we were not disappointed. Portions were good sized and the view from our table was excellent. We had a front row seat to see local sailboats racing as we lunched! The crab cakes were the best we’ve had in eons and the chowder rivalled my own ;. Also the service was efficient, friendly and fast. We’ll definitely be back.
Good. Nice food and good service. At first, when I inquired about placing a To Go order, the staff gave me the impression they were doing me a favor by allowing me to order. However, after they took my order, the food was prepared and packaged quickly. The seafood cakes are delicious. The only miss was the clam chowder. It is very creamy, with lots of seafood in it, but almost completely without flavor.
Located right at the end of the Pier. The Bristro has nice view of the water but with limited seating. The food was delicious with good portions. They were out of Cod so I had the Halibut and chips. The clam chowder was very good as well. The service was great.
Love this place. The food is always amazing and so fresh and the staff are very welcoming. The clam chowder and crab cakes are so delicious and the fish and chips are also very tasty. Well worth a visit if you’re in Sidney.
The best views when you are in the area for dining. Excellent service. We tried crab cakes, chowder and salmon burger on our first trip. Then returned for dinner the second time to try the dinner plates and got the salmon and halibut mixed plate. Butter tart for dessert. The seafood is cooked perfectly, salmon was consistently under seasoned for my palate. Butter tart shell was more of a puff style but I liked the unique take on it. Will return for sure.
Beautiful and homely place, so cozy and welcoming! Fish was perfectly battered and SO flavourful and fresh, it was a great first stop after arriving at the airport. Fries were a little weird and soggy but that is the only thing I would say was not on point! Overall, so good! Amazing portion sizes and bang for your buck!
The food here very good. Service is friendly and knew menu items. The portion size for what we had was on the larger side. The batter on fish quite nice. Complimented the fish. Real fries too. My wife really enjoyed her food as well. Fish cakes are amazing as is the seafood chowder. The wine selection is good too. Bought a bottle had a glass and took the rest home. We will definitely return here again.
Check out this restaurant if you are in Sydney. Good setting right on the water. Had the crab cake, chowder and dish and chips. Crab cakes and chowder was amazing. Friendly staff and good food.

Did take out on the 2 piece cod. Fresh, crispy and not soggy or greasy. The fish was a nice size too. Worth a side trip for a bite to eat
