Good for quick bite of pizza. I generally don't rate or care about fast food places. But this time the place was exceptionally dirty with almost all veggies looking old. I asked the guy and he said they only restock them on Wednesday. To my luck it was Monday. Overall cleanliness and willing to make you a good pizza depends on who is making it. My server was just bored/tired. He was yawning all the time and didn't care at all. But somehow pizza came out good. I mean I built it right ;?
Took my girl out on our first date, absolutely loved it! Affordable and creative I love how you can watch them make your pizza.
Let me start by saying save your money and go to Blaze. Today I thought I would try Pieology since they are new in town. I have a gluten allergy and was glad to find out the had gluten free crust. I was not surprised that they charged an extra $2 as Blaze does also. What I was surprised by is when I picked up my pizza the Gluten Free crust was not much wider than the width of my hand. When I said something the guy just shrugged and said yeah their smaller. Not only did I pay an extra $2 for the pizza I got half the pizza! On top of that the crust was so tasteless it mine as well have been the cardboard box. Shame on Pieology for ripping off customers with allergies!
Really good pizza with a friendly staff. A great place for kids. It really cool being able to pick out your toppings that are in front of you. It truly feels customized.
Staff takes their time, no rush, big portions, looks like their crafting art instead of building a pizza - awesome! And, of course, tastes great!
Showed up after the bar and had a great pizza. Loved it so much, we decided to order the exact same one again to take home with us. Next day we decided to swing by again and bought 6 more custom pizza's to take back to the sunny beaches of Canada with us. Best decision I ever made. Still have a few in my freezer.
This place is my favorite pizza place in Royal Oak. I've been to blaze as well, and although the concept is similar the experience is worlds apart. Pieology flavors are phenomenal! You get to customize the pizza to your liking and every topping adds to the entire flavor! The customer service is of the best tier, and they're always friendly and inviting!
I love all the choices of toppings. My only issue is depending on who is working how well or poorly the pizzas are actually cooked. Either the pizza can still be doughy and not completely cooked or burnt. If they fling it in the pizza oven the toppings end up all on one side. Mostly they are pretty good for a decent price and a great location.
If you like Blaze pizza you'll LOVE Pieology. It's the same concept but the pizza is delicious, the quality doesn't suffer from the speed! And the staff is amazing. GET THE HERB BUTTER IT PUTS IT OVER THE TOP!! They have yummy diner ranch too. Love this place!
Great place. We're regulars at Blaze Pizza and wanted to find an alternative to our favorite place that often is packed and has long wait. And Pieology is it. We loved it. I might say even more than Blaze. Thin and crunchy crust. Clean interior. Great and friendly stuff. Tasty pizza. Love it!
