Piano Piano bottom line is delicious. Each space is a little different but you definitely know you are in a Victor Barry restaurant. The place practically hums with great vibes and happy customers. It’s always busy so definitely make a reservation. I have never had anything but great a service from meet and greet to the table. Now onto the food. It’s superb. For such a busy spot I have yet to have anything but consistent eats. Must haves for me are definitely the prosciutto plate with grapes and parm, egg yolk ravioli can’t be taken off the menu, the bee sting pizza and calamari and artichokes just to name a few. If I was going to make a suggestion, and I feel this is a must….please change the sharing oval lipped dishes to a plate that can hold some food! These are simply annoying. That mini rave over. Plates, dishes, it’s delicious !
This place is a must-visit!! The service and ambience are excellent and the food is so so good. Their pizzas are cooked to perfection and the size is enough for 2 people to share. We had the fun guy pizza and the hornet pizza and I definitely recommend both. Get the ranch dipping sauce, it's flavourful and superior than your average dipping sauces. We did an anniversary dinner there, and it was extremely kind of them to give us some complementary bubbly! Very thoughtful
The atmosphere and vibe are excellent! They have very nice decor and great ambiance. The staff are attentive and friendly. We made reservations online and had to provide credit card info to secure our reservation. There is a $25 per person charge if you cancel 2 hours or less of your reservation time. The food is delicious! There is a variety of options for appetizers, mains, pizzas, pastas and dessert. The also have great cocktails! We will definitely be back!
Excellent food, cocktails, service, and ambiance! Heard great things about Piano Piano and it surpassed expectations! Everything we tried was absolutely delicious. Fantastic quality and a lot of care in the preparation and presentation of their dishes. Cocktails had some interesting combinations and all 3 I tried were great and worth the price. Service was exceptional. Perfect place for a date, celebratory dinner, or just any occasion really. I find most restaurant of this calibur have a trade-off when I comes to ambiance, food, or value, but Piano Piano definitely hit every on note!
We had a lovely experience at Piano Piano. This was our second time there and we enjoyed everything about it. From the food to the service and the ambience. Special Shout out to Paige, our server. She was very warm, energetic and fantastic in her recommendations. We literally picked from her reccos and things were spot on. My only constructive feedback would be that I noticed that during our dining experience there were 5 people who handled our table Host, Order taker, person from pass to deliver the order, clearance person and one person to replenish our cutlery between courses. I feel that kind of is too much. Ensuring a lesser number of faces on the table just ensures that there is a more consistent experience.
Excellent spot for Italian meals. The pasta and pizza were amazing, especially the Rigatoni and Meatballs. Surprisingly, the Caesar Salad was also much better than I expected. Slight upscale prices, but very much worth it. A strong recommend.
This might just be my favourite restaurant in Toronto! It feels like a great place to celebrate a special occasion, but despite its elevated appearance, this is the most delicious, comforting Italian fare. The whipped ricotta is amazing, the calamari was great, and the egg yolk ravioli is my heaven it is perfection. I’ll keep coming back so long as it’s on the menu! Be warned that the bundino is so rich we made it through about 3 bites before having to leave it.
Visited Piano Piano with a few friends one Thursday evening - we had reservations in advance so we were seated right away. Staff was really friendly, service was solid. Atmosphere was very welcoming, aesthetics were really nice. Ordered a fun guy pizza vegetarian to split which was really delicious as well as ordering the egg yolk ravioli which was really good and had a really nice presentation on the plate - wish there was a 3rd ravioli though only comes with 2. Price $$-$$$. Definitely recommend checking this place out if you’re in the Spadina area!
Came here for Summerlicious 2022. All three courses tasted amazing, were beautifully presented, and above all, had filling portions especially the appetizer! compared with other fine dining establishments. The interior had a beautiful design and there is indeed a piano hidden in the basement! All-in-all great value and well worth the visit.
Huge portion sizes and amazing Winterlicious selections, you can choose any appetizer, pizza/pasta and dessert on the menu. Bustling restaurant with beautiful artwork and half of the name sitting quietly in the basement waiting for a player. Calamari app was delicious and included some surprisingly different fried artichokes. The pizza was tasty but a bit rushed bottom was burned, crust doughy in some spots but enjoyable. Dairy free dessert was also a very welcome surprise. Overall very fun though not exceptional food; left very full and happy.
