Oretta Midtown

Saw an ad on BlogTO and started following on social media. Decided to make a reservation to check it out. Turns out, we made the reservation for the wrong date but they were super nice and accommodated us with a table anyways. They were also very child friendly and took care of the needs of little ones. Now to the food. Excellent food if you enjoy brunch and Italian food, this is the place to go. Prices were also very reasonable. We just over ordered because we wanted to try everything. We had a wonderful dinner Josh our server was fantastic, his recommendations were wonderful and he patiently answered all our questions. We got the 7 course meal and the chef came out to explain our dishes and thank us for ordering the menu. We were so inlove with the dishes we left nothing on the plates! It was even more magical as we got engaged that night! Definitely a magical experience! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

A great Italian restaurant. There’s a wide variety of options from pastas, pizza, and great salad options. The pasta is handmade and the taste is phenomenal. Great presentation, and the wait staff really know the product well. They’re able to recommend something for you even if you’re struggling to decide. Ambience is cozy and is good for groups or a date night. I was always a fan of the gelato. All in all a great experience.

This is the first time we dine at the midtown location. Food is average, however the whole experience is amazing. Staffs’ service are 5 stars! It was a celebration lunch for birthday and the manager gave us a bottle of Prosecco and desert on the house. I will definitely go back to try out the dinner experience.

Fun atmosphere and pretty great food. There's a very nice bar area that I would recommend for something casual, but the food is pretty solid. The sea bass was probably one of the better fish dishes I've had this year in Italian restaurants. There's an area on the second floor for events if needed. Good for setting up a row of 20 odd seats or a second row if you need more, but would probably stop after 30 just to give everyone room to walk around.

Overall a very nice experience! We did a walk-in on a Saturday night and they were able to accommodate us without a problem. Our server was super nice, I wish I remembered his name. We didn’t have a big meal, but the items we shared were perfectly fine. Ambiance is nice and so are the drinks, I’ll definitely be back here, maybe next time for brunch!!

. Fantastic. The atmosphere was comforting, and the staff, surprisingly young, were friendly and hospitable. To sum up the food..... Fantastic! The appetizer: calamari was one of the best I've taste outside of the Mediterranean. The pizza simply with fresh ingredients and the pizza doe triple 000 quality! The pasta was authentic as can be...! Perfect balance of ingredients. Bravo we will definitely be back..

A trendy restaurant with friendly staff. We were there for brunch. Ordered two different dishes and the plates were colorful and flavorful with a sufficient portion. I loved the freshness of the cheese. We definitely go back to try more.

Loved the food and the experience! I went for my anniversary and had the 7-course family style tasting menu. It was delicious and filling. Plus it is a really good option if it is your first time so you try different dishes. The staff was also great. Looking forward to go try their brunches. I would recommend this place for a special occasion.

Delicious food - very fresh ingredients used. Wide selection on the menu and staff is very helpful and friendly. Our server allowed us to try the different gelato flavors prior to choosing and recommended great dishes to us. Overall wonderful experience!
