Phoenix Bar & Grill

The consistency of good quality service is slowly deteriorated over the past year. Sometimes service is very good and other times it is not. Certain staff can be extremely abrasive when serving you and others are quite inexperienced. I used to frequent this place regularly, but, I have decided to take my business elsewhere.

A personal favorite of mine on campus, decent selection on tap and friendly service. The food is always good, even if the selection is more limited these days

I've spent A LOT of weekends and money at the phoenix. I was generally pleased with its service until recently. Since 2017, it takes around 5 minutes (minimum) to get a waiter or waitress. Sometimes I now even have to wave at them and obviously, they don't like it. It takes around another 5 minutes (minimum again) to get your drink and around 20-25 minutes for food. Kitchen closes WAY TOO early for being a restaurant-bar. I've noticed that (not always) food is served without cutlery and napkins. This should never NEVER happen. It's fine if you're going for a drink, but there are cheaper, faster, places.

The pub has been improving crazily over the past four years. The burgers are really good and a perfect option for on-campus lunch/dinner/drinks.

Excellent place to go for a beer or two in campus. Friendly staff and well managed.
