Awesome coffee . Bubble tea. Sadly they are currently out of the Viet Sub. But still so much great stuff to try out. Noah was the one who served me. Great guy!Food: 5/5
We ordered the Special Combo 1 and the Bun Bo Hue. The SC1 was excellent. The Bun Bo Hue was flavorful but strangely not spicy for me. We will definitely be back to try their grilled meat.Food: 4/5
The spring roll is burnt and doesn't feel good. And the bubbles in taro bubble tea don't have a sticky taste and become too rusty. I think the bubble blew up after applying heat for a long time. But the pho were delicious.Food: 2/5
The place is really nice and it seems pretty clean although I had to wait a really long time for my order to come. I waited for 30 minutes+ with no one else in the restaurant so pretty confused as to why I had to wait so long. They also cut my sandwich wrong, this photo will explain itself.
Foods are great. Was little busy on the night that we visited. The front counter work so hard, he deserved a raise. The Vietnamese Bùn the best. The Phò are little too small compared to some places in Calgary, since I am from Calgary. Yet, overall great experience here. Haven't try their Korean cuisine yet, will try next time. Vegetarian options: They do offer vegetarian dishes and spring rolls. Dietary restrictions: Overall Vietnamese foods are healthy. Parking: New area in town, tons of parking. Kid-friendliness: Actually, all foods are kids friendly. Since as an Asian, we like to share dishes.
Best sub i ever had..! Very friendly, food was great. Highly recommend.Food: 5/5
During the past year Pho House has been our go to restaurant. We love their food and the serving was generous. However, recently service and food quality has gone down a lot. Hopefully, they are able to do a better job and give quality service to the chappelle community moving forward.Food: 2/5
Delicious food; the bulgogi chicken vermicelli was the best I’ve ever had. The service was a bit odd as when we first got there it seemed like they were lacking staff one guy running all over the place doing his best, until about 10 minutes in and someone else joined him. Aside from that aspect, everything was amazing from a food standpoint. Will definitely be back.
Dropped by here for lunch with some friends. The restaurant has modern decor with good ambience. Mainly Vietnamese food offered with a few Korean choices too. Ordering was done at the counter and service was courteous and efficient. I had a special combo 2 vermicelli bowl with pork, beef, chicken, and 2 spring rolls. The serving was well sized and was tasty - the dipping sauce was sweet which was great a lot of places have a more sour taste to it. Also had a regular milk tea with tapioca which was acceptable. Overall, the food was decent, on the pricier side I would think especially compared to downtown or inner city Vietnamese restaurants extra here probably for the ambience and the suburb location , but if you need a local fix of contemporary Viet food in the neighborhood Chapelle this is a good choice.
Pho house used to be our favourite local restaurant. Used to be very good service and very good food. We order every single week. Service, food and wait times all of a sudden went downhill. Went there last Friday and waited for more than 30 mins and the food was not as good as it used to be. We didn’t mind the waiting and probably it was just one of those days for them. But tonight was the most disappointing of all. Ended up canceling our orders after more than an hour of waiting. The server was very rude, instead of apologizing or explaining why our food is taking forever and why she kept serving the customers who came 20 mins after us she just kept saying I can’t do anything about it and you should have made your reservations. After waiting for more than an hour for our food, she told us that we should have made our reservations. I asked her if I can just talk to the person in charge if she can’t do anything expect for being as rude as she was. Instead she said that the one in charged doesn’t want to go out. Found out the one in charged was the new owner. Spoke to him he seemed to be a nice guy, it would be nice to support local businesses but not if the server is rude and customer service is the least of their priority.
