Consistent issues in the Calgary mission area, flooding/elevators broken/windows not once cleaned/receiving mail is impossible. Apartment was flooded May 4th today is August 29th and my walls aren’t repaired, baseboards are ripped out, closet doors are taking up a full bedroom and haven’t been put back on, staff has been completely ignoring me until recently and just keep sending me attendance notices without showing up at all. Still paying full rent not even sure why.
PETWIN is one of the worst property management in Calgary. They are not deserve even one star. They do not care about tenants. Do not rent in Mission Square building 4 st SW: - Elevators are not safe and each couple of weeks one of them broken or somebody trap in there. - There are THIEF on that building : tenants or maintenance team! I'm not sure. But Petwin did NOT accept to check security cameras and did not pay for stolen items. - Each 2-3 weeks they shut down water, especially on weekend and always said : that is emergency maintenance! Recently, they do repairs all 7 days of week, for more than 2 month! Always emergency repairs!!! sometimes even don't bother themselves to notice tenants for repair and making noise . You never have quite time there. - There are only 2 washers and 3 dryers for more than 50 units and laundry room is always dirty. - Recently, some of tenants don't care and leave their Garbage in the lobby and corridors. - This building suppose to be adult building, however Petwin rent apartments to families and you will enjoy loud voice/screaming of mother each morning before 7 am and crying/nagging of kids every day and night. You never enjoy living there.
Loved renting with Petwin Properties, I lived in 416 7 st nw with Amanda as my site manager and could not recommend them enough. Always prompt with any question or concern of mine and any maintence was always dealt with within days.
Petwin is the worst place to live. Hailey is so bad at being a building manager it is just sick! Nothing ever gets fixed and the place on the inside looks horrible over priced rent just cause the area. And to top it all off there slogan is. If it ain't broken don't fix it!
Filthy walk through, agent said they would clean it before I took possession - never happened. Service Fees on top of the agreed rent amount how is that even legal. On top of that, they compromised my credit card info to the tenant that took over my lease.
Excellent management!! I have been renting from Petwin properties @Mission Square Apartments for the past 2 years and have had a great experience with them, the rental manager is very responsive and concerned about tenants needs, also if there is any maintenance work it is attended to immediately. I would highly recommend Petwin for rental apartments in Calgary.
Great experience with Petwin from the beginning. Communication has been great, and Shantel has always been available when needed. I highly recommend Petwin Properties as they seem to be always be updating my building and making improvements. Great company and very friendly and helpful staff! I really appreciate the great communication, it makes things much easier.
NEVER NEVER NEVER RENT DUNEDIN HOUSE! THEY FAILED TO MAINTAIN PUBLIC HEALTH STANDARD! This company owns a renting property at 9910-104st in edmonton, alberta. here is my story below, At the beginning of September, I went to the property manager’s office to report a possible case of bed bugs in my unit. Based on bug bites on my legs. I requested the manager to send someone to resolve the issue. However, the manager denied my request and also demanded that nothing could be moved or take out of the unit. They also informed me the pest control specialist would only be available sept 24 2018 and if I were to use a 3rd party company, I would have to cover the charges. On September 19th, I scheduled Brian, who is a pest control specialist to do a brief inspection. After the inspection, he came to the conclusion that the causation was not bed bugs, possibly fleas. In addition, he informed he did not have the expertise to complete the diagnostic and recommend another pest control company. Thereafter, I directed myself to the manager’s office to let her know about Brian’s words. Also, to inform her that her pest control person would have to first identify what type of bug is causing the issue. So they could clean it accordingly. Afterwards, I found a pigeon nest on the balcony and informed them saying it could be one of the reasons. On September 21st I had Pest-force specialists come in to do an inspection. They said it could possibly be mites and that the whole unit was infested. The unit was non-habitable and the cleaning cost would be very elevated. So they suggested me to talk to my property manager first. Thereafter, I went to speak to the manager to inform her that both of the companies to whom I have talked to, none of them were able to confirm 100% the causation and that she really had to contact her pest company to resolve the issue. Also told her that September 24th the Monday, when the her pest company would do the inspection, I would be free during my one hour lunch break to go back and provide anything if needed. Also I could be reached by phone or email. On September 24th, I did not hear anything from the office, so I went to the office the following day to talk to her. She said that I will be fined the exact value of $175.00, since my room was “not prepared”. So I asked her what type of room preparation do you need to identify a bug. However, she diverted and would not answer. She the rudely informed that the room wouldn’t be cleaned until the fine gets paid. Afterwards, I inquired if anything was found in my room. Her response was “we found poo poo!” I have filed a complaint to Residential Tenancy Dispute Resolution Service. the office manager was scorning when I bring the notice of hearing to her. I will definitely file another complain to alberta health for sure.
