Pets Are People Too

This is hands down the best pet store in a hundred miles! Local family owned buissiness, where the staff are well trained, informative, and very kind. Often your are speaking to one of the owners or their family and you wouldn't even know it. This place is AWESOME!

You and your pet get welcomed with open arms. Amazing customer service and they had things the other stores DID not have that I was looking for. It seems like home when your there.

If you are lucky enough to be deal with Chris, prepare to be treated as if you know nothing. I recently purchased four fish that could easily live in a 12 gallon tank at full maturity. Chris proceeded to tell me that that was way too many fish for one tank, and I shouldn't even consider it. I have raised fish for the majority of my life, including on a hatchery that raises and releases over 500,000 fish a year. I'm pretty confident in my fish raising abilities, and I have done this before, so I proceeded to tell him that I appreciate the concern, but I have no worries about putting all these fish together. He immediately got short with me, refused to make eye contact, and rudely answered any questions I had. He was incredibly rough when handling all of my fish into the 2 in of water he put into the bag, and proceeded to throw them onto the counter when I went to check out. I try to support local stores, and I wish I could say that the staff here is adequate, but I'm sad to say I will be shopping at Petco from now on.

Friendly and knowledgeable staff. My dogs are sure to be spoiled with affection when I take them inside!
