A wide variety of food selections, all of which I tried were delicious. Cheeseburger & sweet potato fries, shepherds pie and shredded beef soft tacos.Food: 5/5
Food was pretty good, they don't offer the pretzels and the mustard while one waits anymore, which is kinda too bad. It did take 30 minutes for them to bring a small shepherds pie and onion soup. There were very few vegetarian options. The atmosphere and waitress were very pleasant.
To say that this place serves "pub grub" is not giving it enough credit! Our meal was fantastic! And the cocktails were the best I've had in a while! Went there right when they opened for lunch: my mom got a fresh lobster roll, my dad got the steak tips with perfectly cooked veggies, my husband got a generous sandwich with thick-cut potato chips, and I got beef stew and a caesar salad. Everything was delicious, and our waitress was courteous. Will definitely be back!
Their house margarita was quite good, and the portions are quite generous. I had the cup of French onion soup and the small seafood risotto, and I couldn't finish all of the risotto. Both dishes were quite tasty. The drink menu mojito was a little strong but was quickly fixed. Our server was attentive and though quite busy being one of the few places in the area open for dinner that evening, we did not have long of a wait.
We had the beef stew, grilled chicken sandwich and a Reuben. Beef stew was adequate. The Reuben and chicken sandwich were both excellent. Service was good along with our adult beverages. We ate at the pub tables on bar side and atmosphere was typical of a tavern. Fair value for the entire meal. Absolutely would return!
We have loved this restaurant for some time, despite living 2 hours away, but recently had such a wonderful experience that I wanted to leave a review. Kaycee was our server and she really went above and beyond. As new parents, traveling and eating at a restaurant with a hungry and teething infant is not always pleasant, but Kaycee was so gracious and anticipated our every need. We were absolutely blown away by her, and so extremely grateful.
A cozy place on a fall day. The French Onion Soup is excellent and every sandwich I've had there has been delicious. The cocktails and service is topnotch too!! Go and enjoyFood: 5/5
Great place in beautiful New London. The ambiance is warm and comfortable. The drink are crafted with care and great creativity and the food is well worth the price. I'm surprised to find such a great place in such a small town. We'll be back again!
Group of 14. Thought we had reservations at Anchorage but got there and the restaurant was closed! Got to PCT and they said "We got you",. Food was ordered and on the table for all 14 of us within 30 minutes. The service and the food was amazing!
I attended the soft opening. The food was some of the best have had in this area in a long time. The fresh clean look of the new tavern nice. Its open but still has a cozy rustic feel. I will be dinning here on the regular with family and some adult nights with friends. Bacon wrapped pork tenderloins was amazing. Don't overlook the poppers or wings
