Pete's Retreat Family Campground & RV Park

We spent a long weekend camping here. We have a fifth wheel and really enjoyed this campground. The campground is very clean and everyone was very helpful and friendly. Most of the spots are seasonal ones but there are a few that you can reserve on a nightly basis. The campground has a nice pool, hot tub, and splash pad. Additionally they sell firewood, have a camp store, a pool table, and a very small arcade area. For outside activities they do a hayride on Saturday nights, have a BMX course, a dog run area, volleyball, two playgrounds, and a couple horse shoe areas. Most of the nightly sites are pull through with full hook up and 50 amp electric. It was fairly quiet while we stayed here. There is also a small strip mall with a convenience store, cafe, and coffee parlor within walking distance of the campground. I think my only complaint is that if you aren't into fishing there's not a lot to do in the area. If you are big into fishing I would definitely recommend this resort.

We travel and camp full time, four wheels and two, all over the world. This campground has it all! The grounds and well kept, the sites are large and the place is just immaculate. The hot tub is even hot! My only complaint would be to keep the pool/hot tub open later. Five pm during the week just doesn't cut it.

Friendly staff, clean resort, lots of activities do and only a few minutes away from mille lacs lake. Pool is not huge but nicely kept up.
