The staff here are so friendly, helpful and honest. Both I and my dog love their house-brand Performatin dog food. My dog loves that he is welcome in the store on a leash too. Happy to shop here on the regular!

Went in shopping on boxing day to get a gift for a furry friend, really unimpressed with the sour and unfriendly service we received from the staff person. A sign in the window advertising boxing week sales and items on clearance was plainly displayed, yet the staff person informed us that it was false advertising and there wasn't anything on clearance because that's what the company had decided. Also found ourselves discouraged away from interest in the cat that was supposedly up for adoption in the store. I'll shop elsewhere now on, absolutely dreadful customer service.

This store has amazing advice, particularly where food allergies affect your dog. If you want options that you didn't consider before or want to learn more about the foods you use I highly recommend this pet valu store. I've been shopping here for 3 years now, and I am still learning great things! Great store, great staff and a well deserved 5 stars!

You'd be hard pressed to find a friendlier, more helpful and caring store owner than Scott Riley. Scott just gets it. He understands that operating a store...whether it sells Dog food or widgets or tires is never just about the product...it's about making people feel looked after and special. And nobody does that better than Scott. Can't recommend him enough.

They did not have what I was looking for. The person who I am assuming was the owner or the manager definitely acted strangely towards me and what he suggested I purchase for my puppy. He tried to discourage me from the food I currently purchase that he does not sell by lying to me and saying that my current food will not be around much longer; I happen to know that is a lie. Would not recommend this location at all; I have had better experiences at the Oshawa locations but got a very strange and unwelcoming vibe from this one.
