Perkins Restaurant & Bakery

Excellent. We were seated immediately. Food is fresh and our service was like coming home after a long trip. Mundy provided good coffee, great food, laughter and lots of smiles. I appreciate that. She was an incredible waitress.

Went 2 Perkins in Rapid City, SD. The food was great, friendly staff...GREAT deal on muffins; buy 3 get 3 😀

As a kid, I grew up going to Perkins with my grandparents and had some of the best memories eating here. Now as an adult, my husband and I just moved to Rapid City and I was so excited when I saw we lived close to a Perkins. My husband had never been and I was so excited to take him! This evening, we decided to have dinner at the Perkins. We arrived all excited. Our server had the worst attitude and seemed as if he was either having a bad day or just didn't want to be there. I was a server while in college and I get the restaurant industry, but customers always come first. Regardless of the poor customer service, we both were too excited to care. Then, the food came out. My husband ordered a "smasher" and I ordered the Belgian waffle. We both two drinks (ice tea and iced coffee). The food was below average and overpriced. I didn't realize one waffle with a side of bacon was going to ring up to $9.29. We will not be returning. I am so bummed as it was something I truly loved growing up.

Good, but our experience was marred by a dirty spaced-out fellow being allowed to just hang out. Charitable yes, but worrisome. I couldn't relax.
