Perkins Restaurant & Bakery

Terrible service. First time in my life not tipping a server. This place was NOT BUSY at all while we were there. They didn't seat us, we had to seat ourselves. Then we had to wait and wait for the waitress to notice us. They brought me my salad without any dressing. I asked for some dressing and the guy (who looked annoyed with me for asking for dressing) forgot about us and walked off and helped other customers instead. By the time I did get the dressing, that another waitress brought, myself son was done eating so I asked for a to-go box instead of eating. I left there pissed off. Never going to another Perkins ever again.

One of the better perkins I've been to in the area. Super friendly service, day or night! I have never felt as though my order wasnt prepared with care and I feel like the ladies who serve there, love their job!

I wish they had their strawberry muffins available all year round rather than just seasonally. Love the pumpkin muffins they have in the fall too and the pulled pork cheddar cheeseburgers they have in summer. Really good malts too, especially if Diane makes them...and the waitresses and waiters are dandy too. I prefer going on a Monday rather than the weekend. Weekends are busy, especially Friday nights and Sundays. Also, I think the food tastes fresher and that the Monday chef does an overall better job too (but all the chefs are good). Also, I wish they would cupcakify their blueberry muffins and add some frosting on top like they did with the strawberry muffins. Blueberry or frosting on top could be yummy or maybe have a Bavarian cream filling in the middle with the frosting on top of blueberry muffins. That sounds drool worthy. : )

Slow but good food. Waited forever to be seated. Manager (Molly) was camped out in the kitchen. The man at the register waiting to pay looked at me and pointed to a bottom along side the register and said "do you think pushing this would help". I said couldn't hurt. Seconds later she popped out from behind the door. Waitress was fast and friendly but Molly needs training. Would have given 5 ☆ but couldn't overlook slow service.
