Perkins

Restaurant has a new menu which seems more in tune with the way people eat now, but it hasn't abandoned those standards that many people love and expect from Perkins. They still put a carafe of coffee on the table!! Gotta love that. There was something marvelous on the menu containing one item I cannot eat. When I talked to the server, he was so cheerful discussing it and said making a change was no problem and he even suggested a work around. The chef went beyond what was expected which is so nice in our "cookie cutter" world.

I've been to this Perkins twice before, the food was great as well as the service. However this time we were greeted by a very strong odour which smelled almost like it could be gas. We were placed in a booth, and ended up asking to move to another booth because of the smell. We received our drinks and noticed the cups were cloudy so I rubbed my finger on the inside of the cup and it was dirt. Waited for our waitress to come back for nearly 10 or more minutes but my friends and I had enough once she began waiting other tables. It was only when we got up to leave she approached. Don't see myself coming here again.

My waitress was very friendly. She was so kind to my 2 year old daughter. I had eggs Benedict and it was great, a much larger portion than I need.

Can NEVER go wrong with Perkins. Good food bgood portions beggs Benedict was perfectly bdone. Eggs still runny. Not hard as at other eateries. Good value.

Excellent breakfast... spacious and clean dining room with great service from Carrie. Will definitely be back.
