Today I went out shopping with a friend at Pennington's on 137th ave in Edmonton AB. It was the worst customer service experience I have ever had. I was not greeted, had an arm full of cloths to try on and no one offered to start me a change room. By the time it came for me to try on clothes, there was no one to get me a fitting room. I waited at the front till for over 5 mins to get a fitting room and still no one could help me. All the empty fitting rooms had their doors locked. Giving up, I tried on 4 pieces of clothing just in the fitting room area. Finally an employee got me a fitting room with 4 items left to try on. No one came to check on me or offer to get me different sizes. My friend had someone greet her, and start her a fitting room. No one helped her get other sizes so I did that for her as well as helping 2 other customers get different sizes in clothing they were trying on. While waiting for my friend there was a line up of 3 other people waiting for a fitting room. I gave up my room and held another fitting room open for other customers. My friend ended up making a purchase but I refused to buy anything as my shopping experience was terrible. I let my friend use my birthday discount because I have no interest in returning to the store with such poor customer service.

I'm rather disgusted at how expensive plus sized clothing is! With that being said this particular store in Clareview has really nice staff and they are helpful.
