Peloso came highly recommended by close friends and I have not been disappointed.  They truly do offer VIP service as their site proclaims.  Not only do they always do an excellent job with my clothes, but they even delivered my last order to my house.  It was not ready when I swung by and so the owner drove it over that very same day.  He even gave me an Italian cake in a box along with.  Now that’s VIP service!

I really wanted to have a good experience here, and I chose this business because of all the amazing reviews. Unfortunately, I did not have a great experience.  I dropped off a long formal dress on a Monday morning and said I needed it by Saturday. The dress had wine stains on it which I know can be tricky and the owner and I looked at the dress together, and he told me it would be ready by Friday at the latest, and that I should expect a call on Thursday or Friday morning. I did not receive a phone call. I called the business on Friday 3 times but no one answered. I went into the shop on Saturday morning at 10:00a.m. The man working could not find my item, and we looked for over an hour. I ended up searching racks and buckets myself until finally the owner called the employee working and said the dress was not ready and I should come back Monday because he couldn't get the stains out. The event was that evening Saturday night and I was told that it would be ready.  I would have appreciated a call on Wednesday or Thursday to let me know that the stains were not coming out, so I could have thought of a back up plan. Unfortunately, I left the store Saturday morning at 11:20 a.m. with a dirty dress. I was there for almost an hour and a half and the service wasn't completed. The man working that day tried his best to help me and I appreciated his efforts. The promise of this item being ready by a certain date was not delivered. If you need something done in a timely fashion, I'd go somewhere else. I truly wish I had a better experience here, and I wanted to rate it higher. Sadly I can't, but I do give appreciation to the staff member who did his best to help me that day.Service:&nbsp;Dry cleaning

I went to a wedding that was literally in a cow pasture. My salmon suit was not only caked with the finest dust I have ever seen, but someone managed to spill red wine ALL over it. Peloso was meticulous and when I received my suit, it was better than new! They take their time, they really care, they're friendly, and they do great work! Definitely my new dry cleaners :

When I lived in around the corner, this was my go to. Now moving just outside of Ottawa, will still only come to Peloso’s to drop off my clothes for cleaning or alterations. They are friendly, service has always been amazing- my clothes always come back pristine and done with so much care. Highly recommend!

Very disappointed with their service. They don’t even have a price list. Charged me $200 for 2 jackets and broke my favorite jacket. I’m not sure if it’s because he thought I was a tourist and assumed I didn’t know the market price. Avoid this unprofessional and dishonest cleaner!!!
