June 11-17, 2016 This is our 2nd time using Norm's services at Pelletier Campgrounds - Rental of canoes and shuttle of vehicles to White Birch landing. After 19 years Norm is still the Number one outfitter for your Allagash Water Way adventure. Always accommodating, helpful and goes out of his way to ensure you have a great time in Maine. Thank You again Norm for providing us with a stress free adventure.

My Boy Scout Troop, from CT, has used Pelletier Campground and Outfitters 3 times in the last 15 years. Yes, I would go back there in a second. Norm L'Italian, the owner, is the most gracious and knowledgeable outfitter I have ever dealt with. That includes three other outfitters. His equipment is top notch, the prices fair and the service is wonderful. His word is his bond and his attitude was a pleasure to behold. I am involved with BSA Troops at the District and Council level. I would recommend this company to anyone thinking of doing the Allagash River.

If you need to rent equipment, have your car shuttled, be dropped off, or any other service for your canoe trip on the Allagash or in the North Maine Woods, Pelletier's Campgrounds are the outfit to do it. I'm the owner of the Jack Mountain Bushcraft School, a guide training and expedition company, and 2015 is our 15th year of working with Pelletier Campgrounds. Over that span of time I've had vehicles shuttled, been dropped off in remote locations, rented gear, stayed at the campground, and more. I've always been impressed with the level of professionalism, attention to details and friendliness. This is no big city outfit where you're a number. Instead it's a small town small business where reputation matters. They know the woods, have the gear you need, and the prices are competitive and fair.
