Camping St Basile

Staff are very welcoming and keen on being helpful. They made me a beautiful green salad with strawberries for dinner the night I got there, let me hang my clothes on their clothes line (they have a coin washing machine but no dryer except in their home) and they drove me and another camper to the grocery store. The showers are recently renovated and included unlike some campgrounds that require coins. They have a little mess hall / community centre with an electric kettle, microwave and double kitchen sink. The pool doesn't have as strict hours as some campgrounds as there was no lifeguard which I prefer. Nice little campground for a solo cyclist.

Nice campground, we stopped for 2 nights and stayed for 4.... the owners were very nice and made our stay enjoyable. I would of given it a 5 star but only a washing machine no dryer. How ever we were able to put up a line to dry our cloths on so it was fine for me. The camp sites a nice sizes and level with grass. We would definitely stay here again.

Absolutely amazing! Clean, friendly, family oriented, and has everything you may need! We travel every year from Toronto to PEI and stop at a minimum of 8 sites each trip. By far the best we have been to yet! We will definitely make this our regular stop! 😊

My friend and I were just passing through and read all the reviews about how friendly the owners are. We can't agree more. They were lovely. The park is tidy, and very very quiet. A peaceful place to tuck in for the night.

Very friendly family run campground. Clean washrooms. Thank you for helping us reset the circuit breaker late at night when it tripped!
