I cannot say enough good about this place! The staff are phenomenal from the time you inquire to the time you check out. They specialize in fear free vet appointments and it is such a relief. I was nearly in tears before going in due to my fearful pup but they made every step of the way seamless. They’ll call you when to come in and bring you through a separate door to a private room with a comfy couch and blankies for your pup. They respect your pet and their boundaries, give them space, and are still able to provide care and treatment. They took their time going through options and advice and went into detail about medications and demonstrated how their medical Bluetooth devices work. They use a questionnaire to determine your pets fear triggers before even arriving and actually listen. Lots of yummy treats and cheese whiz! were given. My dog is my life and I cannot thank them enough for the compassion and patience they showed us today! Thank you for giving anxious pets a chance! We will make the drive from Torbay anytime.
Just yesterday we had to put down our dog orca and I can easily say it was the hardest day are little family has had. The people here made us feel cared for and our dog very loved for her final moments.
I want to extend a huge thank you to Dr Johnson and all the amazing staff at Paradise Animal Hospital. I had to take my 18 year old cat into the walk in clinic, as my cat suffered from a first time seizure during the night. Everyone was so kind, caring and supportive. They treated my sweet cat as if she was their own, and were constantly providing me with updates throughout the day. Thank you all; for not only caring for my cat, but for making sure I was cared for and updated throughout this time. I would recommend this clinic to anyone in the area. Sincerely so very grateful for the staff at paradise animal hospital. We brought my kitty Pheobe in to the walk in clinic yesterday morning as she was lethargic and throwing up, and we were extremely worried. The staff were so kind and got her in right away, Dr. Quinlan was so thorough and gentle with her! They worked with our cost concerns as we're a low income household, while still giving her the best treatment possible. They were able to diagnose a gastro illness through blood work and an x-ray, we got the results so fast that we were mind blown. Our little girl is now on a few medications to help her get back to herself quickly, she's coming around already and we couldn't be happier. They've even been calling us to check in on her and make sure she's doing okay. I would recommend this clinic to anyone who needs medical appointments for their fur babies. Thank you so so much Dr. Quinlan and the amazing staff for helping our little girl!
