Paps Kitchen and Bar

All of the food items were ok but nothing special. When we enquired about sandwich options, most were deli meat. Brisket burger pictured was a frozen patty with shaved deli meat on top, as opposed to a burger made from or contain ing brisket. Fish tacos were ok but over sauced. Reuben was good. The low down - not a 4.6 star experience. We would go here again if invited by friends / family but Paps wouldn't be top of mind for good restaurants in Vaughan.

Great food, friendly staff. Thoroughly enjoyed the Truffle Mushroom burger! Nice interior improvements from this former Turtle Jack's Restaurant, leaving a cozy, upscale feel, yet casual enough for a sports get together or comfort food family dining.

I visited Paps recently for dinner on the patio with my family and it was a great experience! Highly recommend. The food was yummy and the portions were generous - I only snapped pictures of the chicken supreme, west coast halibut and the Reuben sandwich sorry for the blurry pic!, but everyone was very happy with their food including shrimp linguini, fish and chips, chicken souvlaki and chicken tenders. There were 10 of us and we had good service, the staff was friendly and accommodating. It was also a cooler evening so I really appreciated their patio heaters! Thanks Paps for a great dinner!

This restaurant is amazing. First of all, they have great service, very nice people and fast serving. Second, the food is very good, no matter what you get on the menu you will always be happy with your meal. And it's all for a decent price. They also serve there dishes very nicely as you can see in the chicken tacos picture. Overall a great place place to hang out with family or friends to enjoy great food

Last night a group of us came to this restaurant.The food took a bit long understandbly sat night but the portions were good and nice presentation.our server diane did a good job. After dinner she dropped some plates on the floor and the remaining food on the plates spilt on our clothes.Thats ok. Accidents happen.She was nice enough to clean them up with a towel.AT this point the owner comes to our table and tells me take them to dry cleaner and bring him the bill.I live far away from this place and dont know when i,ll be back again.A better gesture would have been to offer the customer a complementray drink or dessert.just saying

Fantastic food! Ordered loaded Nachos and mushrooms Swiss burger. Nachos were amazing thin and delicious. Burger meat was so juicy and perfectly seasoned. Our server, Gabriella, was fantastic also. friendly and polite. She also made a nice cake presentation for our friends for her birthday. Highly recommended. We’ll be back for sure

Came to Pap's last night for dinner with a few friends and our experience was great from start to finish. We had a great time and everyone really enjoyed their food. Our server Taylor was amazing. She was fast, friendly and made great recommendations. Didn't have to ask for a single thing the whole evening. Hands down the best service we've ever had, anywhere. We will be back just for her!

So I decided to go give this place another try did not have a good experience on my first visit but I know the owners have many years of experience in this industry and I'm not going to let one waitress ruin my experience. Like I said I'm not a fan of waitresses that don't write the order down but I got to say tonight's waitress was hands down excellent everything was exact as we ordered and most importantly everything tasted fantastic the parmesan truffle fries alone are phenomenal. Drinks were refilled without asking and of course social distancing was maintained keep up the good work to the pap's team. This was my first visit to pap's kitchen and bar. I've been looking forward to their grand opening and finally decided to visit. Very nicely renovated but in my mind reminds me of turtle jacks and the memories I made there with my over hundreds of visits. I know I will probably change my review score the next time I visit I understand it's a new restaurant and they're working The kinks and getting used to everything but some of the staff were waitresses from the past. Very empty for a Sunday night we were shown to our seats where our waitress brought us a bottle of water with two glasses nice touch I like that. Decided to order nachos to start regular chicken wings buffalo sauce extra crispy. The nachos were served quick but the chicken wings were breaded and definitely not extra crispy. The sauce that I selected was Buffalo and it was very good just wish they got a bigger chicken wing but I'm just the guest. I'm not a fan of waitresses when they don't write down the order because both of our wings my friend and I were breaded and we wanted regular we enjoyed them we ate them. We paid and left. I will definitely be revisiting the restaurant as there's a few menu items I would like to try it wasn't the bad experience it was okay that's why for now it's a three star.

My friend and I visited this restaurant bar for the first time recently. Loved how big and spacious it was. So we were seated at a booth on the bar side and was greeted by the waitress. She started us off with water and said she was going to return to take our orders. So the restaurant isn’t particularly busy on this night. Our waitress probably spent a good 15 minutes talking to the couple at the booth next to us, while she knew we were looking to order. Furthermore, there wasn’t any other waitresses for the bar side. I’d definitely say that I wasn’t pleased with that. Food came and it was good. I got the chicken souvlaki dinner and it tasted like grandma made it - home cooked meal. It was a big portion and I did enjoy the food. However, my friend and I did feel like their food price point was expensive. Their calamari app dish was $19 and my dish was $27. We’ve all had these dishes elsewhere for a cheaper price. Overall this place was a decent experience for us. Personally I don’t know if I would come back. For me, if your price point is high, your service and food should be immaculate. I’d definitely recommend this place for a try and see what your experience looks like. Cheers.

This restaurant is one, if not the best in Woodbridge for apps and pub food. The food was fresh, hot and delicious. Excellent service by Gabriella. She was quick, attentive and sweet. Thanks Gabriella and Pap’s kitchen, we’ll be back soon!
