Several residents in my 55+ community recommended Papa Kelsey’s. We’ve been trying to find a pizza place closer to our house so we went there for lunch today. Wheelchair friendly. It was great. Nice people and clean place. The pizza was tasty and the meatball sandwich was yummy. Plus they apparently deliver to our complex. Win win! Sign up for their rewards program.

I ordered the chef salad and was totally disappointed by it's size at the price point of almost $8. It was served on a small saucer and had less than a cup of lettuce, one piece of turkey and ham rolled up and cut up with a little cheese sprinkled on top. It was the size that you would get as a side salad at most Italian restaurants and certainly not an entree size. My girlfriends got small pizzas at a price cheaper than my salad and they said they were really good.
I wasn't expecting this place to be good due to it's location and what it looks like on the putside, but it's great! My partner and I both got different calzones and they were both great. It reminds me a lot of the Pizza Hut I used to go to back in the 90s in my home town. My one and only complaint is the tomato sauce we got with the calzones. It was acidic and was maybe canned? It comes in a cup so you don't have to use it. I'll probably be coming back next time I go to this part of AJ.
You get three stars because the pizza was good but I paid $1.50 for extra mushrooms and there's barely any mushrooms on it. So you get to keep the mushrooms and my $1.50. lesson learned don't order extra. I also thought they were only .90 cents for extra mushrooms. Oh well It is what it is.
Got a med pepperoni pizza and it was great!!! Has that almost brick over flavor with the crust and toppings were great! Definitely be ordering from there again
Usually great hardly any complaints I went in right as they open the food wasn’t as good as like later in the day but still good! However one employee shouldn’t be taking order’s just rushes you, and apparently for the pizza and wings deal you have to have a one topping and not just cheese fyi I guess
Always came here as a Dasher & they just happen to be polite, now that my engine broke downthanks to Earnhardt Toyota in Mesa for not tightening the oil drain plug, I'll be comeing here more often. Thier subs really hit the spot.Food: 5/5
Excellent food, great place, awesome staff. Tried it with my family today for the first time, will definitely be back. The food is excellent, very fresh, hot and good quality. The staff there is extremely friendly, overall the whole family was happy with how everything came out.
Local pizza and sub joint tucked into a strip mall. I ordered a calzone. When my calzone was delivered, was pretty boring looking and I wasn't expecting much. To my surprise, it tasted great! It had just enough cheese and sauce to balance it out. It wasn't exactly what I ordered but I was willing to overlook the error. Pleasantly suprised!
