My partner was craving fresh churros in the middle of winter and we made the trek over here (the closer location to be closed and we weren't aware of that) and my partner was so stoked and not disappointed at all! They provided us piping hot, fresh churros for a very reasonable price, even offering many tasty filings, something I never even saw much in California where I ate them all the time. Quick and kind service. Definitely come here hungry, there's 3 other mini restaurants in the same building that all looked so dang tasty and would love to come back and try. Come here for dessert after a hearty meal at one of the other Central American restaurants here.

Plain and simple. Churros and ice cream. The churros are fresh and served up the way you want. I ordered the churro cone with vanilla ice cream and dulce de leche sauce. The churro was crunchy and exactly how I wanted my churro but the ice cream tasted a little old and icy. I think soft serve would've worked better. Perfect snack in the market for a hot day.

After amazing churros as Mr. Chu, I was ready to see if there are other good places around Toronto. Seeing how we were in Kensington and 4 stars, I was hopeful. Deep fried dough with sugar ... can't screw it up right? Riiight??? This particular place looks to be a stall in a very authentic Kensington (aka hippe) mini food court. There's no Instagram coating to the place. When we arrived on a Saturday afternoon, there was no one really so it was to just order 3 churros for $5. I'm all for efficiency but when I saw the guy plop 3 old and already made churros into the oil, that was just a disappointment before I even got my hand on it. It's not there is a line up out the door and you gotta be fast. So $5 later, how was it ... ok. It was warm and crunchy but compared to Mr. Chu, Pancho's wasn't as tasty, crispy, and definitely not as fresh. Plus it's more expensive. I guess you can say I was unimpressed 3/5
