Paloma

We had a good night. Great service and great food and great ambiance. The place is small but cozy. The chef came from the South of France and cooks French/Italian dishes. We almost tried everything on their menu from their appetizers to entrées. My favourites would be the octopus salad, the veal brain, the halibut and the lobster ravioli. I shared everything with my family. We were full by the end of that but still had to try the desserts. Their pavlova and peach dessert were very good. While the food and service are great, I do find it overpriced. The restaurant is not an upscale one based on the decor, the service and attire required.

My most memorable dining experience in Montreal. Unbelievably lucky to have scored a table for their special menu in collaboration with Les Carrotés, a maraîcher south-east of the city which supplies the restaurant with exceptional produce, highlighting a vegetable in every course. The food is incredibly creative, dogmatically free. Ideas bear risk, and they pay off. There could not have been anything better than that radicchio leaf to cradle those succulent slices of duck. Insanely good. Will be revisiting to try their proud offals.

Cozy restaurant with small menu. The plates were hearty but fresh. Drinks were not great. All in all, I expected a bit more with such high ratings on google. Also, note that to eat in their beautiful backyard, you must mention it in your reservation we didn’t so unfortunately we ate inside.

One of the best experiences I’ve had in both food and service. Food is genius, so complex yet still very down to earth; great wine with knowledgeable sommelier; passionate service staff and welcoming cozy environment. 12/10

It’s definitely a bit of a trek to get here but well worth the effort. Food was excellent and prepared with great attention to detail. Service was as good as any of the top restaurants in the city. Wine selection was pretty unique. Will definitely be coming back!

Incredible meal! I would eat here every day if I lived in Montreal!

This place was amazing! Not only the food was great, but the service was absolutely top-notch! The wine pairing was selected to match our taste. And I got the best French lesson that I could get. We totally enjoyed the artichokes, the fish, as well as ravioli, and the desserts are just must try.

Excellent restaurant with a unique, heartfelt and tasty cuisine. I was really impressed by the service and the quality of the food. One of the few great restaurants in the neighbourhood, part of me didn't want to write a review so I could keep it my little secret. But the place deserves to be known and celebrated.

Paloma is one of the best kept secrets here in Montreal. Rosalie and her father have beautifully curated a focused menu true to their roots in an intimate space good for both groups and smaller affairs. With stellar and attentive service , a special wine menu filled with great natural wines, and the best food north of Jean Talon, Paloma is a must. Once you make it here, you'll keep coming back for more!

Food was excellent, simple easy and delicious. Service was impeccable, awesome wine pairing with meal. Very good, highly recommend.
