Palace Cafe

Best American breakfast ever had! This was just random restaurant we selected for breakfast on the way to Spokane. It turned out to be one of the famous in town. We realised that when we saw bunch of people waiting outside for breakfast! Omelettes were cooked properly, the way the waitress asked us while placing order. Friendly staff and nice place to eat.

5 stars for service and atmosphere. Food is basically pretty good bar food. Nothing exceptional, the jacks screaming burger special sauce was a little sweet, but was a pretty good burger. Not worth 18 bucks good though. Ciabatta burger was solid. Very plain, but it worked for the bother. The service for the kids with cups that had small straws and lids without even asking us was a nice touch, coloring menu and emoji shaped fries all helped make this a nice experience. The shake was huge for 7 dollars. Good flavors. Not the most amazing shake but also worth the price. Nice bar selection as well

A decent place for breakfast. The company I was with said that the eggs benedict was good. Be warned, if you go when it is busy it may impact how warm your meal is. I hear dinner during the week is great. There is parking on the street.There are booths to the north side of the building and tables and chairs to the south. The booths get cozy if you have a group of four adults. Plan to spend around $25 per adult for breakfast.

Great breakfast in downtown Ellensburg is highly recommended . The Palace has rustic turn of the century ambiance with brick walls, old photos of Washington life from late 1800's to early 1900's. Walk in from main street and wait for a short minute to be seated by very pleasant waitstaff. Coffee is breakfast blend and they leave a carafe, I was loving the place already. The menu is simple yet everything you will want for a hearty and healthy breakfast is on one laminated page. The service is happy and informative. I added to my menu item and it came exactly as ordered and quickly. I splurged with the superbly prepared hashbrowns. So yummy cooke to a golden brown. We enjoyed this small town restaurant Palace Cafe @ 323 N Main St, Ellensburg, WA 98926. The decor was enjoyable to look over. Service was on point The club was super as was the reuben. Nice portions, overall very pleasant and enjoyable 2022 dining experience. Thank you Palace Cafe Team.

Amazing service. Their shakes are served in an old fashioned metal container. The burgers are top notch cooked very well and juicy. Burgers are served open faced so you see what you ordered. The Cesar salad is delicious and the food is all fresh and delicious. Best place I’ve eaten in a long time. For the price a good bit of food. You will not leave hungry here. The waiter named Mickey is amazing and he deserves a good tip as he is old fashioned remembers everything and doesn’t use a note pad to take your order; at least he didn’t for two people. I could rave about the atmosphere and everything else but it’s amazing to say the least. I am from Idaho and it’s been a long time since I’ve been in a place as down home as this. Very friendly staff over all.

This place was one of my favorites till today. The first waiter was rude and set down the water glasses super hard, after we ordered our food we waited an hour without any one refilling our waters the whole time. We get our food and my plate has barely any food on it, barely any avocado, and my dad's hash browns were burnt and over just did not taste great. After we get our check we go to pay and the waiter asks how it was and we said "eh" and they didn't say anything to us after that. It takes them 10 minutes while we are standing at the front for us to get our change back and when they did they just waved it in our direction and didn't say anything.

I have not ate at the Palace for a while. I did not want to cook this morning so I thought I'd go to the Palace. I was seated very quickly, and the hostess was very nice. My waitress was Mia who was great! Very friendly and accommodating, I ordered a Breakfast Burrito and it was awesome! I then ordered for someone in my home who didn't go, I ordered the Cinnamon roll and when Mia brought it I thought that maybe my family member would like something else so I ordered the special Biscuits and gravy for them. Mia was a champ and just rolled with it. The Biscuits and gravy where very good as well as the Cinnamon roll. The Palace has always been a great place to enjoy a meal, for the price and quality of the food it is one the better places to enjoy what Ellensburg is about.

The palace used to be my favorite place to go in town but lately the quality of food has dropped... I'm not sure if maybe they have a new cook, or what's going on but the last few times we've been the food has been just ok... Their new "onion rings" are not onion rings at all but more of a "onion topping". Their old onion rings were amazing so I'm not sure why they changed it. My fiance ordered a rare steak and it was overcooked to a very chewy well done... I really hope the quality of food gets better...

It was very good, a fun place to go! Atmosphere was great, the food was above average but not exceptional. Could have been because they were really busy on a Sunday so expect a wait if you go during lunch or after Church. I am looking forward to going back, I believe they deserve higher marks from me next time!Food: 4/5
