The Early Bird

Glad we pulled away from the highway to come eat breakfast here! Delicious home- cooked food, very fresh with attention to detail such as perfectly seasoned hash browns. The breakfast burrito was perfection as was the avocado toast. The place is spotless, the staff friendly and warm, the coffee strong and delicious! We will make it a point to always stop here next time we are in adorable downtown Ellensburg.

I went with a big group around lunch time. They have many creative menu items ranging from low fat vegan options to fully loaded meat packed dishes. We tried some of the bowls and biscuits and gravy. I have had better biscuit but the gravy was on point. It can get busy but we found a big table to fit everyone in our group. Would love to go back if I am in the area.

Cute, busy, order at the counter…I recommend the breakfast salad. It was very hearty and the house made maple dressing was fantastic. Everything we saw come out of the kitchen looked fresh, colorful, and delicious. They have outdoor seating available and tasty breakfast beverages. We looks forward to trying more of the menu. Loved our stop here for brunch while going farther east from Seattle. Tons of seating options with large picnic tables outside and bar tables and decent sized tables inside. I found the decor to be modern and minimalistic which we liked. We ordered the yakitori bowl, the Buddha bowl, avocado toast, the classic, monkey bread, juice and mimosas. Monkey bread is a must try. The yakitori bowl on the other hand was a major miss, the rice and chicken weren't seasoned properly but the ingredients just didn't have a good synergy together, the greens just had soy and sesame glaze with egg cooked separately - put together the dish just didn't work for me. We noticed the Buddha bowl to leave us wanting as well. The other dishes however met our expectations. On the whole we had a pleasant experience. Great atmosphere and lovely staff. I ate the tacos and they tasted bland and flavourless. The others enjoyed their meals though. Would recommend for the experience, and we will be back to try other things on the menu.

I don't get all the hype. Interesting menu, but a little undercooked in practice. Need to elevate the taste, educate the chefs and make the gourmet price worth it! On the right track. Great mimosa platter and brunch spot.Food: 3/5

Everything is right on point! Fresh squeezed juice, hot coffee, tasty food, great service, fun atmosphere! Biscuits & gravy are delish. Had the corned beef benedict special as well - inventive and satisfying! No wonder it’s always busy : Dietary restrictions: Gluten free options are clearly marked

Stopped for breakfast while going through Ellensburg, had biscuit, gravy, eggs & potatoes and a mimosa. Everything was delicious, served hot & promptly & reasonably priced. Had a few minutes to visit with the owner, who was very sweet. Would definitely come back again!

Amazing atmosphere amazing staff. And to die for food. Everything about this place is just fantastic!! If your ever in Ellensburg and looking for fantastic food this is the place to go hands down!

Outstanding breakfast!!! Lively little spot with excellent customer service and fantastic food. Had the Mexican eggs Benedict and they were perfect. Don't know if that's an everyday item but next time I'm passing through Ellensburg I'm definitely stopping there. Thanks guys.
