So good! Ate here with my buddy during our ski trip. We both ordered the Elk chili which came in a crispy tortilla bowl with skinny crispy french fries. Wicked good! Great atmosphere! It was busy the night we ate here.

Nice location, cozy feel, good (homely) food, decent portion for a decent price. Clean place, nice staff. Often busy with singing and cheering regulars and visitors. Good value for money in a tiny place like lake Luouis.

We went here for dinner one evening and had the most unpleasant time. After we were asked to sit, no one came around for over 25 minutes to ask us for water let alone take our order. I had to go up to the bartender to place an order. The tables around us were being served but were avoiding ours. Maybe it was because we were the only non-white people in the place? Ridiculous that this occurs in Canada. Even after our food arrived, the French fries for example were old, overdone and cold. Honestly not worth it.

My wife asked for no butter on her steak because of a dairy allergy, but it came with butter anyway. It was also overcooked. My burger was good. The drinks were overpriced. We had a few different mixed drinks and they were watery. The reason I picked that pub was to watch the hockey game. It was fine for that, except that there wasn't sound. I wouldn't want to go back.

Great atmosphere in a small pub with a big fire place and great bar. I strongly recommend the Hungarian goulash.
