I guess it was the first mosque in Ottawa. Nice mosque with free parking. They do community events too. Gets very busy on Fridays. Shaikh is good. Multilevel space for men and women.

Ample parking, very spacious musallah, well lit. Weekdays the main entrance is closed, male and female entrance are on the opposite side of each other. So if you locate one, then the other you need to go around. Clean Wudu area and clean washroom.

It's a wonderful place that u can feel comfortable to pray and I love it

okay.. the masjid is one of the originals.. too bad they don't have a vision that considers the youth and the future. Where is the gymnasium? the youth camps? the sleepovers for kids like they did back in the 80's and 90's. Sorry, but you may be a prayer institution but you should look at mosque models like those in Barrhaven or Bells Corners where they have gymnasiums and sleepovers for kids etc... The mosque is supposed to be a centre for family and community.. not a brick building just for spiritual quietness... this mosque is falling behind the times...By the way, nothing to do with the imam or anyone in particular. Just not feeling the energy of the youth/future...
