Very small campsites, very close to neighbours. But it's convenient to bike into town and has a small public beach across the road. Also each campsite has its own potable water tap which is convenient and it looked like they mostly all had good shade.
We went for the water slides only. We went up and told the lady that we had never been there before... Got charged $37.00 for one adult and a kid. She had no interest in telling us anything about the place or where to go. Was told I wasn't allowed to take my daughter down the slide with me.. even thought she can't swim. I was told " she will be fine" Yet I seen other parents going down with their kids. We wandered around until we figured it out. The water was ice cold and not enjoyable.. Went down the kiddie slide once and left within 15 min.
If you want your children to be yelled at, this is the place to be! The waterslide prices are very expensive and not included in the camping fee. Even if you are not going on the slides you still have to pay $5 per person in order to sit on the side and supervise your children. So you are pretty much forced to pay to be your own life guard for your kids because there is no lifeguard or supervision for your kids. Just a warning, if you complain about the $5 fee you will be called “cheap” I will never come back to this place. Would rather camp in a rest area then come back here. Good luck with keeping this place in business!
The staff are miserable. The camping spaces are way too small and the closest bathroom is down a very large Steep Hill from 90% of the camp spots. The waterslides I have almost no water pressure unless you are a child for the five of them that there are three of them are atolls where to are for very young children even though you get 20% off camping there it is still not worth it. Not to mention the lack of supervision and 0 enforcement on any of the rules where people can get injured. The beach itself is nice however the swim area is ridiculously small and gets filled up and cramped very quickly. Thankfully the other campers were wonderful and it's thanks to them that my family and I actually enjoyed our vacation.
Lovely rv/campsite with hookups and a paid pool with waterslides. We got in late and they offered us a discount for the slides. After we setup and went back to the office, they seemed to forget about it. Otherwise enjoyed the site and slides a lot. 3 long slides and 2 tiny ones for small kids. Sites were clean and overlooked the lake.
Absolutely a great place! Family oriented, water slides are so much fun! Our girls loved it! Owners are European and are very accommodating & super nice. Reasonably priced sites and some of the tent sites are so gorgeous that I wished we would be tenting instead of RVing. lol I would definitely recommend this little gem!
Pretty good overall. It's not super fancy but well maintained. It's great for families as the lake is right there and our girls absolutely loved the waterslides. The slides are older but there are no lines and they're perfect for younger kids. We'd stay there againService: 4/5
This was the worst experience and guest service we have ever had at campground. From the very first moment we arrived to the last movement we left, the owner was unkind, rude, and attacking. The owner physically assaulted my 10 year old son- pushing him out of the way of a gate as my son was asking him to leave it open since we had boat issues, were late and would be there shortly. I will be filing a complaint with the local authorities as I strongly believe that no adult should ever be physically aggressive to young children- especially an owner of a family campground. It’s unacceptable. When I thanked him for leaving the gate open however inquired as to why he felt the need to be physically aggressive to a 10 year old, he yelled and screamed as did his wife with explicitives at us I calmly approached him with thanks for the gate and then asked him to not lay hands on my son again. We are “banned” from returning- however we absolutely never would and I caution anyone with children to NOT frequent this campground. Since he seems unperturbed about laying hands on other people’s children and resorted to pushing my son versus asking him to move first.
Nice sites, fun slides for the kids, and right across from a very nice beach. Nice mom and pop operation, where the owners clearly care about their property. Kids had a great time at the waterslides. Sites are well maintained. Washrooms could use some updating, but overall a nice facility
DO NOT GO! Flies, wasps and hornets everywhere. EVERYWHERE. Even when we have no food, he amount of flies, wasps and hornets is UNACCEPTABLE. It's so expensive it should be a hotel. The facilities are DISGUSTING. Their bathrooms are filled with living and dead bugs, the showers are tricky, you have to wait a good 10 minutes for hot water once you've turned it on, then fiddling with the faucets is a whole other thing. Leaky water source. with all that money, you should fix it and not waste water The pool is so underwhelming and the slides are slow and boring, certainly not worth 20$ for a day. Horrible customer service as well. Might as well stay in the wild. Alot of the good reviews seem fake, by the way.
