Oregon State Medical Examiner: Karen L. Gunson, MD

My daughter died over 3 months ago, and we still have not received anything from the medical examiner, saying the toxicology report is not done. I questioned this response over the phone, since eleven days prior, I was told it was not done, but that day, I received her death certificate stating it was done, and electronically signed by the examiner. The women I tried to get answers from was extremely rude, abrupt, and non compliant in giving me any answers, except that the toxicology report was not done.... final! She even asked does the death certificate say pending.... I tried to say no, but she was abrupt and chose not to listen. I am becoming very suspicious as to what is going on, toxicology reports DO NOT TAKE THIS LONG! FINAL!!! And if it is, then someone is not very good at their job! This women was heartless! This is my daughter I want answers for, shame on you!
