OneZo Tapioca

We haven't been to this particular location of OneZo nor is the chain on our list of frequently visited bbtea joints, but we have enjoyed the tapioca whenever we do visit, and today was no different. Today, we tried the totaro drink and the strawberry mojito drink. The former was pretty good, and our son really liked it a plus is that they also have milk and yogurt drinks, ideal for kids or people who don't want caffeine. The latter was good on the first sip, but once the syrup was gone, you could only taste the soda water, and it wasn't possible to mix it to keep the flavour there. Service was friendly but we were the only ones there.

The tapioca is fresh, soft and chewy. The shape is not uniform. Some drinks you can’t customize much, so be aware of it. I didn’t order via the app because it’s rather glitchy.

Went to the store at around 8:45pm on a Saturday night, and the store was empty. Ordered a Brown Sugar Dirty Soy Milk which the lady behind the counter said that there was no tapioca, but only OneZo tapioca, thinking I would get the brown sugar with it my mistake. Once it was sealed, I realized I just got soy milk with Onezo tapioca in a cup, which was fine. I questioned why I only got soy milk, the lady behind the counter proceeded to give me attitude and yell saying that she didn't have tapioca and I said it was fine. I didn't mind the drink, but it was the attitude and the lack of customer service received.

Tapioca is fresh and made in store. There is a variety of different drinks with fruit options and tea options, tea is usually on the lighter end. Definitely a more premium bubble tea shop as the cost of the drinks are more on the higher end range. The store itself is quite clean

There’s only one staff at the store, line up super long. The staff missed my order, completed the order for the person after me. When I walked up to her and point out this, she found the sticker for my drink and went back to take another person’s order. Without acknowledging or apologizing. A charge of $8+ for a drink for this? No operation management here. There’re so many competitors in the same plaza, this is such a huge disappointment. Won’t return here again.

Strawberry Slushie on top with a warm mochi and strawberry sauce at the bottom. The drinks gets a little too sweet by the end but overall was a pretty interesting drink.

The tapioca is unique and the tea quality is decent, but the service at this location is lacking.Food: 5/5

Delicious handmade tapioca! Try the Uji Matcha Latte! These red tapiocas are made from red cactus pear.
