I really like the food here. It's a mom and pop Indian/Pakistani carryout restaurant with some modern street sandwich items and some classic restaurant dishes. Every time I get food here it's great. Everything I've gotten has been quite hot, and some of it is challengingly hot, but I've never regretted it. The biryani I got the last time I was there ranks among the best I've ever had. The staff is minimal and the service displays the same unique concern with customer care as the preparation of the food does. It typically takes a while for the food to be prepared, but you can call in orders ahead of time. They've never made a mistake with my order, and while they sometimes run out of certain items, the quality of the food and the cafe with which it is prepared is high and consistent. Every time I get something there I tell myself I need to go in more often.

Excellent food. Owner is super friendly. I asked him to make some suggestions and he suggested the Butter Chicken and the Chicken Brianna. Well, I can tell you that the man knows his stuff! They were both delicious and the third entree that we ordered Chicken Tikka Marsala was excellent also. Prices were great also! I have found a gem in Ann Arbor. Also, when I was waiting for my food, I noticed that many of their customers where other Indians- very good sign.

It’s been a couple of years since I’ve been here, and even now his food never fails to disappoint. We ordered butter chicken, curry chicken, chicken biryani, and samosas. Every single item was a 10/10. The owner/cook was very kind and informative when picking up the food. An overall wonderful experience, I highly recommend this spot!

The food is absolutely 10/10. The price is great. Owner is great. However, the last few months every time I try to call to place an order I cannot get a hold of them. I would order in person but when I do the wait is 30 minutes. Honestly cannot even tell if the place is still open.

Great food! Extremely friendly and welcoming service. We told them we haven’t eaten here before and were given great suggestions we especially liked the yogurt sauce with the biryani. Probably best for takeout.

Don't let the apperence or location deter you from enjoying the BEST Indian food in AA! Absolutely incredible once we figured out the menu. Recommend carryout only as the atmosphere is not for dining in - food usually takes ~30minutes to prepare after you call just FYI! We enjoy the see pictures Saag Panner, vegetable biryani, and Tiki Masala.

This has to be the best kathi rolls joint in all of Michigan. Was driving through here and found this place. Reminds me of the kathi rolls back in lucknow. Had a lamb burger as well. Couldn’t believe it was just $7. Was driving though here Saturday night unexpectedly and found this gem. Very good prices for the quality as well. Well done.

FIRST WARNING: I SAW THE OWNER PREPARING ALL OF OUR FOOD WITHOUT GLOVES HAIRNET FOR HIS LONG BEARD. I have no idea what these other reviewers are smoking. First off, the place does not have a good look to it. The random chairs on the front lawn are tacky. Walk in and you'll find it does not have a good atmosphere. Missing panels, dirty looking. The owner's 4 kids are running around and making noise with the chairs that sounds like nails on the chalkboard. I ordered samosa chaat and then the owner informed me 15 min later that he was out of tamarind sauce. I decided to go for it anyways. My friend ordered a chicken tikka Marsala naan sandwich which was a total mess. He should have just ordered chicken tikka marsala with a side of naan. The naan is reheated and the Chicken tikka marsala is so clearly made with marinara sauce. Nothing is fresh here. Source: I worked at the highest rated Indian restaurant in the Washtenaw area and this is a total disappointment.

This is an amazing spot for Indian food! I didn’t take advantage of it while living in Ann Arbor but love getting takeout when back in town. The owner is very nice and gives great recommendations so you can’t go wrong even if something on the menu has sold out. This is a must try!
