On The Waterfront Restaurant

The food is always good or top notch with superb service. And friendly. Outside dining is nice when the0 weather is good. Inside dining can also provide good water views. Tonight we discovered bar dining is relaxing in the booths. But we got out before the football game and its' accompaning din!

We love On the Waterfront and not only is it our favorite place, but we take all our out of town family and friends there. Just love the atmosphere, the professional staff and jovial customers. But the main reason we keep going back is the great food. We really don't go out to dinner much because of bad quality in most restaurants, but the one place we can count on is The Waterfront for a good time and great food .

Went here with my girlfriend at 6 pm on a Saturday in early August, expecting to have a significant wait, if we could even get a table. We walked in and were told that they had completely sold out for the evening, but if we waited a few minutes someone would check and see if there was actually an open table somewhere somehow. We didn't expect anything to come of it really, the place was quite packed, but five minutes later we were seated on the patio with a great view of the river. The food was incredible; Bourbon Tuna and Cod Mediterranean, both indescribably delicious. Service was great also. We can't say enough good things about this place. We will be coming back here again soon.

Great food, fast and efficient service. Delicious pistachio crusted Norwegian salmon with balsamic reduction. Hubby had stuffed shrimp. Stuffing was ok. Server was knowledgeable and gave great advice. Beautiful view of New London Harbor. Will go back, hopefully during daytime hours.

Cant go wrong here. Awesome view, old American East Coast haunt! Looking out over the Thames. You can smell the history here and all the folks have that New England look about them. But the food is fantasitic and the service is wonderful. I had pasta, my Texas buddy had a filet and another co-worker had lobster and we all loved it.
