Ocean Pizza Restaurant and Seafood House

Oh boy. How can words describe the heavenly bliss I am in when I get the chance to eat here. All my 33 years of life, this place is like a part of my family. The pizza is just awesome. My wife loves their salads. And we really like the staff here. Its so much fun to get waited on by the same folks who I'm pretty sure were there serving me pizza when I was my son's age. A great family place.

Great local place to get all kinds of food: pizza, burgers, seafood, Greek. We like to order the garlic bread, even though it's not on the menu as a side of it's own, they'll make it. (It comes as a side to some other meals.) Very casual place and friendly. I always see the servers chatting with someone who is an old friend or regular, so it has a home feel. Once we had to wait quite a while for service, and once I didn't realize we were being charged for drink refills, but overall we really like this place because it has something for everyone in the family. Brought the in-laws here, last time they came to town.

Chicken souvlaki platter was excellent, along with the Greek salad that came with it. So much food, took half home. Wife had Caesar salad with shrimp. Large portion, again, took half home. Great place to go and not blow your budget!

The food was good and great plus delicious. The service could of been better from the waitresses. They could of been more friendly towards me and smiled. Overall it was a decent place to go out to eat.

We have a dozen or so pizza shops in New London...we like our pizza, I guess. Ocean is one of the oldest...if not the oldest...and provides generally solid fare. I've stayed away from here for a while because a counter guy was just an annoying and obnoxious idiot who would screw up your order and tell you it was no big deal. I've recently gone there a few times recently and haven't seen him. The food is good, the prices are reasonable. I'm told their clam strips and a few of the seafood dishes are second to none but I am not much for the seafood. The pizzas are good, the grinders are good, and with their expanded parking, it is easier to get in and out. Is this my first choice? No. But seeing how that jerk is gone, it's back on my top three or four.
