We recently moved to Nanaimo and were looking for a good pet store for the fabulous, Mr. Cheddar. Happily, we found Oliver's at Brooks Landing. 

In spite of it being a smaller store than some of the larger chain pet stores, they still carry a good selection of superior pet products and at very competitive prices too. And if they don't have something in stock, they will make the effort to try to order it.

Customer service is what really sets Oliver's apart.  Val and her staff are friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about pet care and their products. Stop by Brooks Landing and see for yourself. 

Mr.Cheddar gives Oliver's Pet Supplies the two paws up.😽😽

While this store primarily caters to owners of cats and dogs, I have been able to find needed supplies for my reptile here as well. During a recent visit I was given a discount on a waterfall for my reptile's enclosure because the box was opened. Everyone is always kind and happy, and my Roommate and I always have a good experience when we go in.

Just moved to Nanaimo, had a long time independent pet store in Calgary so was looking for the same type of store.  I found it in Olivers ! My dog was on a dehydrated raw that they had in store (hadn't seen that in stores I checked out) AND when she got sick shortly after moving and needed a different food that I had researched as top notch (Horizon, made in Canada & formulated by Dr. Meg Smart(PHD in nutrition) - founder of the nutrition program @ U of Sask Vet program) they brought it in for me in just a few days.. I have been there to get other things now as well... every time I go in Val is friendly & very focused on the needs of me & my dog... HIGHLY recommend !

Great customer service and friendly advice. Having both a cat and a dog the selection can't be beat and special orders are never a problem. This is the only pet store I shop at now.
