When you dine in and order an entrée or the soup/salad combo, the soup refills are bottomless during that visit, also offers unlimited breadsticks and salad with this deal too, if you choose salad instead of soup or go with a combo.nYou can try different flavors, and overall the taste is quite good. There are two points worth mentioning about the dining experience: first, my friend felt the seating was a bit tight, which made dining slightly uncomfortable, and second, the staff came by several times to quickly clear our table, which was usually helpful, but on a few occasions we hadn’t finished the food on our plates, which felt a little awkward.nOverall, however, the experience was still quite enjoyable there.nnThe photos are from our visit in October 2025.

Olive Garden in Calgary offers a wonderful dining experience with a great atmosphere and lively vibe. The restaurant has a large, spacious dining area that feels almost like a saloon, making it ideal for groups and families. Because it is usually quite busy, it is a good idea to book a table in advance to avoid long waits, and convenient parking is available all around the building.nnThe staff were friendly, polite, and very welcoming, which made the visit even more enjoyable. I especially loved the fresh salad and warm soup served as appetizers, and the fact that soup and salad are unlimited when you order a main dish is a big plus. The lasagna, pasta, spaghetti, and chicken dishes were tasty overall, though there is still a bit of room for improvement in flavor.nnIf you are in Calgary and looking for a different atmosphere with a casual Italian feel, this is a nice choice for a meal out. Fans of Italian cuisine will appreciate the variety on the menu, the relaxed environment, and the attentive service. Overall, it is a place worth visiting, especially if you plan ahead with a reservation

The food here was good. It felt like it had been a while since I came back. Since this is the only location in Calgary, I wasn’t sure if it was just me, but I felt the breadsticks were a bit too salty for my liking. The pasta was good too.nIt’s nice to come here once a year or so. Thank you, Brooke, for being a very kind person and for caring for others. It’s not always just about the food, but the experience, and that’s what makes me want to come back.

Experienced the Olive Garden once again last night for the first time in about three years because of our last experience. Good to see not much has changed. The food is bland and overpriced. The wine is good but overpriced. I had the chicken scampi, $27.95 and the chicken was chicken nuggets with three large quarter bell peppers, my husband had ravioli which he said he had better from a can, $25 plus. The breadsticks were warm by the time she came with the wet salads to olives, and two slices of tomato that you could see through with a bunch of wet lettuce, and a ton of red onionthey were cold, she did this two times over and still didn’t get it right. Very loud atmosphere. We will never return or recommend.

What a let down! I reviewed Olive Garden 7 years ago and they got full 5 star review. This time was a much different story.nnI informed the hostess twice that I was a good reviewer and looking forward to giving a great review. So they were aware they were being reviewed prior to my seating.nnLet’s start with THE PROS, bread sticks and salad were excellent and served quickly.nOur waiter Jake was STELLAR as he was very attentive, patient, understanding and accommodating. Look at this young man for manager material.nThe pasta was cooked perfectly and five-cheese marinara was outstanding!nThe Italian and chicken gnocchi soups were divine.nnTHE CONS, I opened my menu and the last page of three just about fell off. Parts of the menu were ripped and unreadable. I requested a new one and this one had rips through the creased pages and a gouge at the top. Doesn’t Olive Garden replace damaged menus?nAfter being seated for 15 minutes I was texted that my wait list position had been cancelled as I had not responded in time, though I had confirmed my seating with the hostess…nWe waited 35 minutes AFTER finishing our salads to get our pasta which was only warm not hot. The table of rowdy boys arrived 15 minutes after us and was served before us.nThe mushroom cream sauce was extremely sweet, didn’t taste like mushrooms at all, and was bearly warm. The replacement dish had hardly any cream sauce, no taste and literally inedible!nThe meat sauce, again too sweet, boasted of Italian sausage and braised beef which could not be tasted.nAs the all you can eat Pasta Feast, we had to remind the various waiters that we had ordered protein as they forgot for one dish forgot and another gave bearly a half portion!nThe Alfredo sauce was also bland. Of the 5 sauce options 3 were a complete fail!nnMy business guest and I agreed that a solid 3 out of 5 star rating was a very fair score. Better luck next time.
