Joey's Seafood Restaurants 32nd Ave

Halibut and shrimps and chips is one of the expensive order from the menu. I have been in and out of the city eating fish and chips for years and years and this is the best yet. I am glad I came. Good food and good price though. It is worth paying it is worth called seafood restaurant. Service is excellent, quick and care. I know i'll be back with someone.

TERRIBLE SERVICE! I came here with my family, and 4 adults and 2 children. We were consistently asking when our food would be here and the waitress (I forgot her name) said it would be ready soon. It was really busy which I understand. After more than hour, we asked again and the waitress told us 2 orders were ahead of us. This is when I got pissed. Other tables got their food ahead of us and there are STILL 2 orders ahead of us. We got fed up and that's when the waitress told us that the order was inputted wrong. It was ordered under takeout instead of dine-in. The food came bagged to our table but we had to go then because my aunt had work. I said we will take it to go but I explicitly wanted a discount for the inconvenience. We went up to the till to pay and had to wait again before being helped. I had to call for someone to help me. Another girl came and helped me (not the server), she said she could only get 20% off and I wanted 50% instead or we would leave the food. She bargained for 30% so I left the food.

Great service and great food. Today was there busiest day of the year and they did great. Thanks for the good service and good food once again :)

A 'fast food' seafood restaurant with a friendly staff. The restaurant chain's claim to fame is the "all you can eat" Tuesday night Fish and Chips special. The staff is friendly and efficient.

Don’t come to this joeys! Terrible experience! We came as 3 families/3 different bills. Original prices in order were $37.36, $64.87, $108.97... now my bill was $42.70, other friends bill was $74.14 and the last one was $124.54. These were the prices we paid after the “tip” they added without even informing us! This isn’t about the money or over the couple dollars we were charged but they can’t just put there own price on things and get away with it! Who said it was compulsory? Infact there wasn’t even a tip option on the machine? There is no policy for this whatsoever. In the end I didn’t get a choice to a tip which is a violation of my rights and I got money charged from my end without my confirmation. Total bull. Be aware.
