Old Sod Restaurant

This place rocked. Old school college bar. Staff friendly good food and great staff. Music which was live was amazing also. First time here and it felt like they knew me forever. Good old Irish bar. Lots of drinks and food. Recommend highly if your in the area or looking for a good night out.

Not my favourite bar in the area but more due to personal preference than anything. Surprisingly good wings and a few healthy snack options. The beer offerings were refreshing and well thought out, management has definitely put some effort to bring in a wide variety at fair prices. The Old Sod attracts and retains a strong group of regulars and I was impressed by the exceptional service I witnessed for those people. The bar staff truly care about their regulars and know what they like. This isn't something unique to the Old Sod, but it is dying type of service that was refreshing to see. I would recommend the Old Sod for small to medium groups for evening drinks and late night food. If you're familiar with Irish pubs, you'll feel like you've been here before on your first visit.

Great place with a good crowd! There's karaoke here on Sundays and Tuesdays with a lot of amazing singers. The food and drinks are pretty inexpensive and the staff are super friendly.
