Okinawa Sushi

Very polite staff. Yummy food. Only thing was the last order we made the sushi had warm rice. Having warm cucumber is not so good. I will come back though.

This place is amazing. The selection is what you would expect from a sushi restaurant with the addition of a few speciality rolls and some other dishes that is unique to this location. I go here probably twice a month. Service is extremely quick, food is fresh and price is the same as anywhere else. Only downside I'd say is since they reopened after the pandemic, the desert selection is limited. Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian rolls to pick from. Parking: Probably about 15 spots to pick from for parking.

Nice place, ordering system was great. Food was prepared as you order and came at a good pace. They don't just have sushi, other good items such as general tao chicken and broccoli and beef. Would recommend.Food: 4/5

Just recently gone there by recommendation, and we were not impressed! My calamari was overcooked and dry.... Some dishes were bland tasting, and different shrimp dishes had too much batter with small shrimps in the middle! The price was high at $32./ person and plus recommended tips of 15 to 30 %..... really! Not going back!

My wife and I had dinner here tonight for the first time. We both were impressed by this restaurant. Food was tasty, delicious. We highly recommend the stir fried udon, it is so much better than most of restaurant in Sudbury. Everything is clean, organized. Staff is super friendly, helpful. Our soft drink were refilled so many time during dinner. We also want to say thank you to the girl Mary might be her name, someone called her by this name helping us so much in using iPad to order, she was so patient to explain everything, and she kept eyes on us to make sure we get the food and see if we’re ok. Thank you all chefs for making good food. Last thing, I love the moon light so much, if possible please let me know where did you buy it. Absolutely coming back in the future.

There are so many negatives. Cheap on their sashimi combo. I paid over $20 for a "sashimi" combo, and I got 5 pieces of crab.. likely imitation crab at that. Who the heck wants CRAB as sashimi? The 3 tiny pieces of salmon and tuna that I got were decent.. but didn't make up for the salty crab that made up most of my sashimi. TERRIBLE spring rolls. It's like the worst I've ever had terrible. I'm pretty sure they were forgotten and frozen in a bag at the very bottom of their freezer, and they threw them in my order even though I didn't order them, just to get rid of them. They literally contained mushy gunk inside, and the rolls tasted like greasy cardboard. I didn't get my seaweed salad that I ordered. I usually never order online for takeout, but this time, I did, and I actually meant to order from another place. My mistake for sure and one I will not be making again with this place. Very much wasted money. Cheap food, cheap quality. Just avoid this place.

Last night group of 5 of us went to have dinner. That was the first time for all of us, we entered around 8.20 and ordered appetisers and within few mins they came, the taste was awesome. Waiter came and informed that they are about to close the kitchen so asked us to order and we did. Few minutes later another person came and informed us that we ordered too many foods then we asked them to cancel other foods except sushi, he said ok and left. But waitress came and placing all the foods that we canceled and we explained her the situation happened but she doesn’t understand English and she said “take home take home “ but we didn’t touch those plates. Again the same person with whom we informed to cancel he came and initially he said no you guys didn’t asked me to cancel but later he accepted it and then he asked us to pay for the food which we didn’t even touchedasked him to cancel. They should guide the customers while ordering, because we are not here to waste the food and money. And a waitress came and telling us “ ok you guys eat everything we will wait until you finish your food which we canceled or they are asking us to pay” . It was our friend’s birthday party but we all had a terrible experience. If a customer wants to be your regular customer then you have to guide them especially when you see other country people they are coming to explore your food. Though food was good, apologies we won’t come again!

Excellent sushi and staff - the former boasts a great many items with careful and expedient preparation, the latter a kind, courteous and exceptional team. The decor is original and artistic love the DBZ painting on the wall that the owner made and the seating is fairly comfortable. The green tea could use more.. tea. It was basically hot water that faintly recalled the concept of tea. Otherwise - a fun and authentic experience and my favorite among the AYCE sushi places in town. No reservations, the place is always busy but the tables usually come faster than promised and they give you a buzzer.
