Story

Angela Hamilton has been in the outdoor power equipment industry for 21 years. She helped run her families business, Kelowna Chainsaws for last 10 years. Her family sold the business in 2015 and that prompted Angie to think about her own shop. she then signed up for a business course through Community Futures and completed a business plan. Angie and her husband Darrell Hamilton have set up the business Okanagan Power Equipment to help out past and future customers.
OKPE is here for servicing all your yard maintenance equipment so it will reduce downtime for your home or commercial use.
OKPE will specialize in Stihl and Toro equipment and service most other brands.

First went to Kelowna Chainsaws in the late 90's and bought my first and only ride on my chainsaw from Wendy, which were sold when I sold my house in 2017. 
Jan 2018 I needed a proper snowblower for my cabin and was delighted to find that Okanagan Power Equipment was in the same family. Nothing has changed....same great service...same great pricing...same excellent knowledge....same smiles. A pleasure to do business with them. Thank you Ant H.

I just heard their ad on the radio today that they are back in business. How exciting !! I can say I was pretty sad when I heard their old business had been sold. The customer service was awesome at the old store...... Kelowna Chainsaw. I know it will be just the same with their new store. I walked into their old store with my chainsaw and told them my air mixture was out. They had their tech step outside with it and give it a quick adjustment. Bingo it was running great. Who does that ? Not the competition! I went by there and they wanted me to leave it for a tune up $$. I will never forget the service Kelowna Chainsaw gave me that day. I had been back to their old  store several times after that to make purchases all of which were good experiences. I look forward to shopping at the new store ,Brian

This is, hands down, the BEST place to go in the Okanagan for power equipment sales and service. Staff is very knowledgeable and prices are great. I refuse to go anywhere else. Great job OKPE!

Went in to have my old Stihl 361 services / tuned up and found the staff friendly, knowledgeable and fast to get my unit back in my hands in working order. A great place with lots of in stock items reasonably priced. They have earned my business and I will use them for all my future equipment needs.
