Ogenki Sushi

Basic sushi. Definitely not gourmet, but good for basic sushi. Nice and friendly staff resulting in great customer service. We stopped in for a bite as it’s located next door to the pet store we frequent. Good for a quick bite. They offer a vegan option which seems to be popular with many guests.

!! Dope and super yummy sushi, I would highly recommend this joint in terms of flavor and menu! This is a quaint and minimalistic sushi parlor boasting two fusion menus consisting of fully vegan immitationd as well as classic sushi, also offering brown rice substitution. We ordered a buch of rolls to chow down on, the Inari Tofu pockets were by far my favorite and a delicious balance of crunchy yet chewy heaven. The rolls were inconsistent in size and proportion of filling as even though the staff are great, we had a long service waiting as their ticket machine broke and ultimately ended up rushed. Had it not been for the solid long wait and rushed food, this could have easily reached a solid strong 4/5. Support local businesses!

Many delicious options—a must for vegan sushi lovers! Loved trying their options! For me, the smoked salmon didn’t have enough Smokey flavour, but the rest of the rolls were fantastic. The miso soup was rich in flavour—and it was free to boot!

Vegan sushi = YES PLEASE!!!! We enjoyed two combos, three chef rolls, edamame, and miso soup. All were made vegan and amazing! You have to make this stop on Main Street in Vancouver!

Simply wow! We had the pleasure of eating at Ogenki Sushi on Main street. Their vegan menu is absolutely amazing! We had a great time trying two appetizers, their spring rolls and vegetables tempuras, along with three chef's special rolls : the summer roll avocado top, the phylly roll carrot salmon lox on top, and the totem roll potato sticks on top. This is the friendly neighborhood sushi spot you should be going to! This is my go to spot for take out sushi. They have quick and easy online ordering service. The staff is super friendly and the prices are great! The food is delicious and I've never had bad quality sushi from them. They care about their customers and it shows!

I was thrilled that they have an extensive fully vegan menu! I ordered a sunrise roll, California roll, and a yam tempura roll. The vegan crab meat could use more flavour, but otherwise it was a positive experience.

Huge selection of vegan sushi 40+ different items. High quality, great taste, presentation and price! They have both a vegan and a non vegan menu, so you find something for everyone. Also peanut-free!

This is going to be my go to Sushi spot henceforth!! What a luck find on Skip!! The vegan chicken teriyaki roll was fantastic! Also LOVED the Mango Crab meat Oshi, bean curd rolls, the gyoza and Agedashi tofu! You guys are doing an amazing job! Please keep doing what you're doing, it is loved!!
