Impressive space. When there is live music it's even better. Obviously, it's not cheap but the excellent, professional and friendly staff as well as the atmosphere make up for it.
Love the service here, the food is pretty good. A bit on the expensive side but that is to be expected for an establishment such as this one. Amazing cocktails - their moscow mule and mojitos are something you must try.
Curt, inattentive service, stale bread and a far-overcooked steak that was very long in the making resulted in a low-calorie, frustrating, 2-hour experience. Despite the prestigious reputation, there's way better in Calgary.
I had brunch with my wife and sister today at the RimRock restaurant in the @Fairmont_PAL Hotel in downtown Calgary. The cook making our omelettes dropped his spatula on the floor, then continued using it. We couldn't believe this happened in such a refined, grand old hotel! :-
