Excellent affordable Jamaican food in east end , tasty , they know how to cook with herbs and spices . No frills , those who know the spot are loyal .Their soups are very good , doesn’t matter the weather the soup hits the spot, my favorite is the beef and red bean soup. The medium oxtail is only $13 and it’s so good with the rice and peas .
This restaurant is awesome! As a new visitor, I find myself coming back for more! On my latest visit I tried the curry goat with rice and peas and coleslaw. The goat was so flavourful and tender, the rice and peas excellent and the sweet coleslaw nicely complimented the whole meal. I wish I had ordered a larger size :. Also tried the stewed chicken and curry chicken which are also very flavourful and a joy to eat. Prices are very reasonable in relation to portion size. Keep up the great work Nyam Nyam restaurant! Another visit today, excellent again. We've enjoyed every meal we've had. Pictures below are a large stewed chicken with rice and peas and coleslaw, and a medium oxtail with rice and peas and coleslaw. You can taste the flavour of real coconut in the rice and peas, very fresh and delicious. Keep up the great work!
My boss at work recommended this place to me and I'm glad he did. Although it could be a bit difficult to find if going for your first time. Good food at lower prices comparable to other Jamaican restaurants. Dine-in tables are there if you want to stay and eat. The Chicken Soup and Stew Chicken is what I can recommend here. Wonderful.
I bought cowfoot for the 2nd time, didn't enjoy it pure bone, too much black pepper. doesn't taste like jamacian style cowfoot. i don't think i will be buying from there anymore even if i was hungry unless they change the cook.Service: 1/5
Terrible. Another horrible Jamaican restaurant in Scarborough. The container was hot, the Coleslaw was hot, the jerk was soggy. Leads me to believe it was microwaved. No flavor. The rice and peas had no coconut milk. The Coleslaw was dry just cabbage and carrots mixed. Should of went to Island Spice.
Jerk chicken was very bland. Not enough seasoning and hardly any jerk sauce on my chicken. Also i asked for extra oxtail gravy on the rice and hardly got any gravy. Just a little bit of oil on the rice and thats it. The lady behind the cash is nice thoughFood: 1/5
The place is great and the people are really wholesome and most of all the foods and drinks are delicious . Am glad my friend introduced me to the restaurant!!Food: 5/5
Thoroughly enjoyed the meal. Portions is very good and I believe when combined with the taste is real value for money. I had a bit of trouble finding the location, however, another plus is there is available free parking.Food: 4/5
Long wait... the store was extremely hot...I don't want to imagine how the employees feel with no AC but the food was worth the wait PRICE EFFICIENT and well flavoured..minus the hot long wait it was amazing !
The worst customer service i ordered a jerk chicken and the goat curry on the phone when I get there the rude lady tells me sorry no chicken now it looks like she doesn’t like her job or she doesn’t wanna be there and ask for a hot sauce on the sauce nothing they gave and this place needs 0 star and should be 1percent google review if u can’t serve ur customer shut down your business for good
