Nucci's Bake A Deli

Nucci’s Bake A Deli is a popular Italian bakery in Thunder Bay. It is located beside Eat Local Pizza on Red River Rd. This is a good place to find pretty much anything you’re looking to buy from a bakery. They have loaves, buns, cakes, cookies, pastries, persians, meats, candies, etc. They cater too. It is a nice Italian bakery, with lots of space inside to walk and lots of good products to choose from. We went at around 1:30pm so it was busy and the line was long but we didn’t wait too long. The workers in this bakery are kind people.

They did our wedding cake, and we couldn't be happier with it! I kind of want to order another one, but don't yet have an occasion for it. Highly recommended!

It was my birthday cake which was ordered by my friends from States. It was delivered on time, presentation was awesome and overall the cake was tasty. Thank you so much for such a best birthday cake.

Come here everyday for lunch and also cater for the office for luncheons. The lady behind the deli was super nice and friendly today. The same can't be said for the cashier unfortunately. She didn't say hello, or have a nice day. Infact I had to say have a nice day to her. I work in customer service and it's common knowledge to be friendly. I mean, unless the customer is absolutely horrible.. its Friday and I'm in a good mood. I was friendly and all I got was a "do you need a receipt". Maybe she was having an off day. unfortunately that costed your business 2 stars. Great food and typically great service. Would recommend.

The only place to get a Persian on holiday weekends and I got mine nice and fresh... but why did they pile them all on top of each other!? : -- "Mimi's Cake Tour"

Really very bad customer service. I called on Sunday to book a birthday cake and mentioned it is for tomorrow. I still remember I didn’t mention the birthday date. I asked the lady what time they are open for me to pick it up, the lady answered they are open till 7pm Monday. That means I booked it for Monday tomorrow like I mentioned. The lady said see you tomorrow then and she end the call. When I went there to pick it up on Monday, the lady was being very rude, she said she wrote it like the Cake is for 27December! Being so so rude !!! What a bad service! This is the Second time we are facing racism at Nucci’s Bake A Deli. I am expecting a call from manager soon, this is too much we are facing Racism in Thunder Bay from this particular store for every visit. Anybody can make mistakes, but she should have behave properly. I never order again with Nucci’s in Red river and balmoral because of the lady who worked on Monday Dec 6th 2021 at 6:15pm at the Bakery Counter.

So happy to be able to buy the famous and loved Vienna Bakery Sally Annes. Thank you Allen and Nucci's for maintaining this tradition!

Best lunch meat $1.49 100grams Black Forest Ham

Their little Persian dessert cakes are amazing!!! Super sweet tho but I like sweet. Just be prepared! I asked for a caramel cheesecake which I pointed at in the window, but didn't watch her grab so I got home and noticed it was a slice of turtle cheesecake. EVEN SWEETER. Be warned. Lol.

We order to full size slab cakes for Tony’s Cabinets 50th. The cakes where awesome. All the guests who came to the party said it was good and not to sweet some even had a second peice they loved it so much.
