Golf in Alaska
North Star Golf Club is open from the middle of May through mid-September, weather & conditions permitting. As America's Northernmost USGA course, a person can be golfing late in the evening May through July. Since we all need to sleep sometime and the course needs to maintained, tee times are available weekdays from from ~8:00 AM until 8:00 PM in June & July and last tee time gets earlier as darkness returns. Weekend Tee Times in June and July are from 8:00 AM until 7:00 PM. (Please check our FB posts for current information.) The driving range closes at ~10:00 PM (earlier when darkness returns in August). Locals are colorful but friendly and visitors are welcome.
