North Star Diner & Shanghai Room

First time tonight here at the "Shanghai Room" inside of the North Star Diner and I'm so glad I finally got a chance to come check it out. Karaoke on Friday night was epic! Much love to the KJ Special K for the invite. The food is surprisingly delicious and the staff is so welcoming. Plenty of parking available if you get here early. Highly recommend for small groups. Come check this place out!

An excellent find for a meal at any time of day. We went for a late lunch today and were impressed by the variety of available dishes. I got the veggie hash pictured below and thoroughly enjoyed it - not just potatoes and carrots, but also beets and kale and other goodies! Super-friendly and attentive staff.

Hands down one of the best places for brunch in Seattle so far. If there is one thing that you must order is Bacon. You can stop reading the review now. We had Crispiest Chicken Sandwich, and sure it was Crispiest sandwich ever. Replaced the fries with Stadium Fries worth extra $2. Also ordered Big Dipper French Toast is unique long bread. Loved it as well. If there is one suggestion would be waiting time. There were couple empty tables still we had to wait for 15mins to sit.

Amazing food, love the atmosphere. I love sitting at the booth with all the astronaut pictures and Bob Ross right there. Parking: There's a little parking lot in back and there's also street parking if your lucky to get a spot.

Best vibes, food and service around Seattle, our #1 Must eat when in town.. county fried streak is just amazing and Don't get me started on the French toast !! Must Tries

One of the coolest places I've had the pleasure of dining. The themes here are just awesome and the staff totally matches the fun good vibe energy! Everything from the tunes that play to the way you feel when you leave after a great meal is just awesome. I cant stay away lol!Food: 5/5

Yeah! We were pretty impressed by the North Star on our first visit today for breakfast. Nice Mexican inspired breakfast items along with your regular sundry of selections. Our meals had some spice but not too much to detract from the meal. My wife had the Chalaquiles and I had the Taurus Scramble and we enjoyed them both. The coffee was ok, but plentiful. Service was good too.

Excellent dinner food, fast and friendly service, and reasonable prices. Also, great ranch!! Huge iced tea, wow. The club sandwich served with fries is easily two meals. Fresh turkey, crispy lettuce that isn't iceberg!, Flavorful bacon, and fat fries cooked to perfection! Dining companion ordered the Little Dipper breakfast and loved every bite. Ham is obviously cooked in house, eggs served exactly as ordered, everything perfect. Fun decor as well. Some of these astronaut pics must be fakes though?! My buddy and i just moved here from Kemmore and we were recommended this spot for brunch by a worker at Fred Meyer. The food was delicious I got the biscuits and gravy with hashbrowns, YUM! amd a screwdriver strong Big portions for the price. My roommate got the breakfast sandwich and a bloody mary. He was beyond satisfied We loved the space theme. Nice staff, plenty of seatting, affordable. New favorite brunch spot :
