Monkey Grind Espresso Bar

This was near to a breakfast place we tried, so I skipped coffee and decided to try this place. It serves different kinds of coffee and baked goods from Macrina bakery. It has a lot of seating inside and some outside as well. We ordered a mocha. It was excellent and I finished it in a jiffy.

This place is a little local joint. One dude doing everything. This is not a fast in and out place. But the food is all hand made and delicious my eggnog latte was incredible. Bring patience but come check out this amazing little cafe!!

I often find that if a cafe has good coffee drinks, their food choices are awful. If the sandwiches are good, then the coffee sucks. But Monkey Grind does both of these things wonderfully! Everything I've ordered has been super tasty. And the spot itself is incredibly cozy and inviting, especially during a cold Seattle day. Staff is also the best - extremely kind, polite, helpful and friendly people working at all times. Prices have stayed reasonable. Good, happy vibes every time I come here. Can't wait to bring my family for a lunch here :.

My go to spot in greenwood! Been coming here for almost 2 years and absolutely adore the owner Kendra! She makes one of the best cups of coffees and makes everyone feel so welcome.

Okay I got lucky I had some time to kill I walked up this big long hill and at the end of The Long Hill was the monkey grind Espresso Bar I had the molasses and ginger cookie with a large coffee drip dark roast in a duralux glass fantastic service and atmosphere and great food!Food: 5/5

Walked in about 20 mins found out after asking the dude running the counter from closing and he gave me such a dirty look, sighed and turned away that I just calmly asked what time they were closing and said don't worry about it and walked away. All I wanted was a piece of Banana bread on a cafe that I found on my walk on a lovely Sunday afternoon. Terrible feeling!

A very nice and cute coffee shop within walking distance of my apartment in Greenwood. Baristas are always very warm and welcoming. Drinks are always high quality, and the food options are tasty as well! They also showcase local artists and their artwork on the walls of the shop which is really cool! I definitely recommend visiting if you are in the area! Parking: Street parking on side-streets and a short walk is the best bet. Very accessible.

Comfortable seats, good coffee, Wi-Fi, and wall plugs. A perfect work from home cafe they also have dog treats for your pup!

A wonderful and quaint neighborhood establishment, run by a very nice lady. Soft music, excellent coffee, pastry selection could be larger, but what I had was fresh and very tasty blueberry scone. If you're around this area - certainly skip any Starbucks and come here. Like me, you won't regret it.
