North Kabab

Went here for dinner late on a Sunday. Very clean store with a very helpful cashier. Was not too familiar with Afghanistan named dishes, and she was helpful in explaining what they were. Ordered the lamb shank dinner for myself, and can say that it was very well cooked! Great portions. Dipping sauces were nice and tasty. We stayed after to chat for 2 hours enjoying the nice wall paintings and environment. They close at 12am so was a very nice hangout spot.

The restaurant wall painting is undoubtedly very attractive.but sadly I found restaurant dine-in service is very poor.I will not recommend this place for any small party or large group dine-in . The restaurant doesn’t have enough crockeries nor have enough manpower to service a large amount of people.Recently one of my friend through a party for 20 people but. We found they failed to serve us bowls/spoon/toilet tissues etc .the restaurant attendant had not clue about food quantity nor able to provide us quality of service.At end since we were in a group so two or three persons shared one plate and one bowl of soup as they failed to provide us enough utensils.

We ordered catering for 28 people 2 separate platter combos for 20 and 8 people. We don't live in the area so we would have had a difficult time picking up the order but the restaurant was very understanding and was able to deliver the food for a fee. The owner is responsive and conducting business with him was hassle-free. The portions were very generous and there was plenty of food left over. Quantity in trays: 3 rice, 1 fries, 1 naan, 2 salad, 4 meat 6 types!, and 2 mantu. The flavor was mostly excellent. The meats were all tender, well-seasoned, and went very well with the chutney which had a little bit of heat to it. The carbs were a tad plain. The fries were not seasoned and the rice was simple as well; however, they helped balance the saltiness of the meat so everything tasted great. This is the best Afghan restaurant I've been to in Toronto and I highly recommend it to anyone that's looking for some central Asian food.

Heard about North Kabab on the social media food scene. The place is not new but it keeps getting great reviews. We decided to get an order for pickup on a Monday. We were greeted so nicely and showed all of the options on the menu. The lady's enthusiasm at the counter was so awesome, I wanted to try everything! We decided to get a family dinner for 5, as it had a nice variety of things. For takeout the presentation and portion sizes were fantastic. The meat was cooked nicely and not dry, spices were lovely. Can't wait to come back and try more. There is lots of seating too for those interested in dining. Food was prepared quickly, our walk in order took only 20 min. Parking: Parking is easy to access. Lots of spots.

First time visiting this place was very good experience Friendly, warm and very well trained stuff! Not like in many other Afghan places, where for some reason waitresses are very rude from beginning! Dooghdrink taste just like home made,chicken was very flavourful! Fries was tasty,and the souse to just bomb ! Thank you so much for having our family ,we will come back definitely! Just one important point TO OWNER! If customers are paying by card there is no tip option,which is in my opinion very rude towards the workers who really does their job perfectly!

We ordered catering for our event from North Kabab, and they provided us with outstanding service! The food was delicious, and the presentation was excellent! The portions were also phenomenal. If you want authentic Afghan food, no place is better than North Kabab!

We Came here 1 day after seeing good video's about it on tiktok and thought why not give it a try. Drove an hour to get there. And was told the dishes we wanted were already sold out for the day and it was the weekend. The server goes sorry we just gave another customer the last platter you want. .. so we Tried the chicken soup which was ok ok... and was recommended to try the chicken burger.. that burger is literally filled with fries and its a wrap not a burger, and had 2 small pieces of literally hot dog sausage fried and small pieces not worth it and didn't taste good at all. Only reason Im giving them 2 stars are for the great interior job and paintings. The staff is under staffed less workers. Definitely need be more specific about the food description when the customers ask the servers.

Delicious food, Very clean and great place to go with friends or family. Their food was the best. And the ice cream is a must. Thanks guys.

Very good prices for excellent quality Afghan food! Clean and comfortable atmosphere. Small patio available. Great for late night eats. Variety of food options available. Friendly serving staff. The mural on the main wall was very beautiful.Food: 5/5
