Waziri Kabob Special - Locally owned and kind owner, the food has a distinct homey feel. The kabob are juicy and have a strong smoky flavor. He even accommodated for the request to replace the rice for more salad. Definitely an unknown gem and more people need to know of this place.
Two stars for value and the flavours are there, but some of the food is burnt. The place while it has gorgeous murals is very hole in the wall. Saw a few flies coming out of the kitchen. The person handling cash still has food grime that got on my takeout bag. Seemed super busy at the back of the house.
Incredible meal from the nicest man. Please continue to support small local business. This family has done a tremendous job renovating their restaurant and I look forward to when we may sit down and enjoy in-house again. Until then....take out will do just fine :. I tried the Mantoo hope I got the spelling right, this is a must order for the table beef dumplings with yoghurt & stewed carrots it's just awesome, light and super tasty. Waziri Kebab had 1 skewer of chicken pieces, 1 skewer of ground beef both seasoned well and grilled to perfection, rice and fresh green salad. The place is decorated with wall paintings and traditional seats and tables which gives it an original flair. I'm definitely going there again.
Have been seeing this restaurant on my walks and ended up going in there. I wasn't disappointed. Just to enter might intimidate you but once you are in you will love the setup, the Afghan art on the walls and polite, courteous staff. Ordered the Waziri kebab plate and it was awesome. Well grilled fresh meat, had asked for the kabuli pulao instead of rice which the owner obliged to. It also comes with a nice spicy chutney on the side. Definitely worth a try. Had the chicken afgan wrap which was ok. Overall the food was good. Definitely coming back here.
Kabul Kabab House is wonderful! We have been back quite a few times - our favourite dish is the mantoo but you can't go wrong with anything on the menu. The flavours are rich, fantastic and the owner is very kind. We will continue returning!
Walked in here today on a whim without knowing anything about this place and am so happy I did. This is unpretentious, simple food prepared with care and love. Just perfect, thank you!
Chicken was raw in the middle unfortunately, owner seemed kind however- would be willing to try a different dish another time
THIS PLACE IS STUNNING. The art work...just wow. How beautiful. The food is well priced and tasty. I usually get the beef kabab combo or roll. Always very satisfied, happy customer highly recommend.
Very delicious food. Everything is fresh especially the salad. Beef kabob is delicious.
